Professional Competitions for Industry Representatives

Three professional competitions will take place during the exhibition: the National Welding Championship "Russian Welding Cup Weldex," the "Best Implemented Innovative Project in Welding 2024–2025," and "Women in Welding."

"Women in Welding"
Over the years, participants in the "Women in Welding" competition have included leading engineers, technologists, chief welders, welding equipment operators, teachers and company managers, as well as artistic welders. This year, women specialists have the opportunity to present their achievements across six categories spanning various areas of the industry.

National Welding Championship "Russian Welding Cup Weldex"
The championship is held in two main categories: "Professional Welder" and "Welding Student." Participants compete in three disciplines: Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA), Manual Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG), and Semi-Automatic Metal Inert/Active Gas Welding (MIG/MAG). Each competitor must pass two stages: a theoretical knowledge test and a practical welding test. The jury consists of experienced specialists who will impartially assess weld quality based on various criteria, including technique, weld quality, adherence to procedures, and safety.

"Best Implemented Innovative Project in Welding 2024–2025"
The main goal of the competition is to promote domestic technologies and improve the quality and safety of welding processes. The competition is designed to identify the best projects implemented by welding production managers — chief welders and management representatives responsible for technical leadership.
