This work is devoted to the creation of long-length products by the method of self-propagating high-temperature synthesis. The paper determines the main parameters that ensure the possibility of obtaining long-length products based on a cast alloy. A comprehensive study of the structure and phase composition of the synthesized alloy is carried out.

Ponomarev K. E., Strelnikov I. V., Antonov A. A. — Results of the application of vibration treatment of AMg6 alloy joints in consumable and non-consumable electrode welding

The article considers examples of the practical implementation of vibration treatment carried out together with different methods of arc welding of AMg6 aluminum alloy: gas tungsten arc welding and semi-automatic welding. Based on the criteria of residual stresses and residual deformations, a comparative analysis of specimens obtained by these welding methods with and without the use of accompanying vibration treatment is carried out.

The presented work is devoted to the assessment of the influence of beam deflection in electron beam welding on the degree of weld metal penetration and, as a consequence, on the properties of welded dissimilar materials, which opens up wider opportunities for controlling the composition of the weld metal during welding. The paper presents the relationship between beam deflection and the properties of the resulting welded joints. It is shown that the use of numerical models makes it possible to quantitatively predict the parameters of beam deflection in electron beam welding of dissimilar steels.

The work is devoted to familiarization with the proven capabilities for hardening and restoring engine parts of machines by electric spark treatment. Practical recommendations for the restoration of parts are given, based on the results of theoretical and experimental studies, the effectiveness is confirmed by successful implementation in production practice.

In this work, the wetting angle of the STEMET 1201 solder on ZTA ceramics and VT1-0 alloy was measured, microstructural studies of brazed ZTA ceramic-Ti joints with various configurations, as well as corrosion studies in accordance with the ASTM F2129 standard were carried out. The structure of brazed joints before and after corrosion tests is shown, areas of corrosion damage are established, and recommendations for modifying the brazing mode to improve the corrosion properties of the joint are formulated.
