The purpose of this study is to determine the presence of the self-sharpening effect and to find the optimal time for electric spark treatment of hardened knife blades. The blades of construction knives were used as the object of the study.

Voitenko V. A. — Experimental studies of a friction clutch for a heavy-series universal lathe

The article presents the results of experimental studies of a friction clutch containing additional friction discs that are part of the driven disc and have the ability to freely rotate around axes passing through their centers of mass. Recommendations are given for the selection of individual parameters of the friction clutch for heavy-series universal lathes.

Kislitsyn S. A. — Productivity of the process of jet electrolytic-plasma treatment of EP648 steel

The paper considers the process of treating EP648 steel by the method of jet electrolytic-plasma treatment. Based on the obtained experimental data, graphs of the change in the mass of the processed product over time, as well as the change in the surface roughness parameter, are plotted.
