Feofanov A. N., Ovchinnikov V. V., Dmitrashko P. S. — Friction stir spot welding of lap joints of a pack of thin sheets made of V1341T1 alloy
The article presents the results of a study of the process of friction stir spot welding of lap joints of V1341T1 aluminum alloy sheets with a thickness of 1 mm. It is shown that the mechanical properties of spot joints of the studied alloy depend on the main parameters of the welding mode: the duration of the welding process, the rotational speed of the working tool, and the axial pressing force on the working tool.
Keywords: V1341T1 aluminum alloy, friction stir spot welding, two-stage friction stir welding, resistance spot welding, spot shear force, spot pull-out force

The influence of ceramic surface modification using a laser and titanium hydride (TiH2) on the microstructure and properties of brazed ZTA/Ti joints is investigated. It is established that notching of ZTA ceramics in combination with the application of a titanium hydride coating significantly improves the wettability of the ceramic surface, which is reflected in a drop in the wetting angle to 28° at a temperature of 1000 °C.

Parkhomenko A. G., Perlov D. S., Volobuev S. Yu., Volobuev Yu. S., Karakin I. A. — Investigation of the influence of the physical and chemical characteristics of ceramic alloying fluxes for strip electrode surfacing of wear-resistant coatings
Studies of the physical and chemical characteristics of alloying ceramic fluxes built on the basis of the SiO2-Al2O3-MgO-CaF2 slag system, intended for strip surfacing of wear-resistant coatings, are carried out. It is shown that optimization of the component composition of the ceramic flux plays an important role in the development of new compositions and allows significantly improving both the welding and technological characteristics of the flux and increasing the level of alloying of the deposited wear-resistant coatings and the operational characteristics of the manufactured equipment.

Lanin A. A., Ilyin S. A., Prokhorova T. V., Reva V. V. — An engineering criterion for the technological crack resistance of welded assemblies — the basis for reducing the development time of welding technologies
Based on many years of research and theoretical developments carried out by OJSC NPO TsKTI, uniform regularities in the development of technological cracks (hot, cold, and reheat) during welding and heat treatment have been established, which develop over time according to the mechanisms of intergranular brittle fracture under the action of temporary and residual welding stresses. Theoretical and numerical modeling, the fundamentals of the methodology, fracture criteria, and experimental methods make it possible to quantitatively analyze a large number of technological options in a short time and select the most stable welding technologies that provide the highest safety factors for technological crack resistance.

Chavdarov A. V., Popov N. A., Evsyukov A. A. — Application of a welding oscillator in multi-pass welding
A new Russian development of a pendulum programmable welding torch oscillation unit (oscillator) is presented. Studies of a multi-pass weld on 40Kh steel using SV08G2S filler wire are carried out. It is established that the use of an oscillator allows reducing the heat-affected zone on the base metal. The use of an oscillator makes it possible to obtain high-quality filling of the groove in multi-pass welding and to improve the appearance of the capping weld.
