Asaev A. S. — Investigation of the wear resistance of thread-rolling dies subjected to finishing treatment with free abrasive using intensified cavitation action

This work is aimed at investigating the influence of the method of finishing treatment with free abrasive activated by cavitation hydrodynamic action on the tool life period of a tool for plastic deformation, using the example of a thread-rolling die. The article considers the dynamics of changes in macrostructure and microhardness as factors affecting the impact-fatigue failure of the working surface of the tool.

Karaban V. A., Sagirov Yu. G., Zarechensky D. A., Vlasov V. T. — Modern methods of solid-state modeling of the stress-strain state of metal structures (Review)

The article considers computer modeling methods that allow creating three-dimensional solid objects geometrically similar to real products. It is shown that with solid-state computer modeling, it is possible to study the stress-strain state of loaded elements of machine parts and structures at the design stage, optimize the design, manufacturing technology, and restoration.
