Feofanov A. N., Ovchinnikov V. V., Reztsov R. B., Smirnov S. V. — Single-sided friction stir welding of thick sheets of D16chAT alloy
The results of studies of the process of single-sided friction stir welding of butt joints of D16chAT aluminum alloy sheets are presented. Comprehensive studies of the microstructure of the joints of the investigated alloy obtained under various welding modes are carried out. The mechanical properties of the joints, as well as the influence of post-weld heat treatment on them, are studied.

Efimenko L. A., Ramus A. A., Murashov N. A. — Analysis of welding technologies promising for use in the construction of main pipelines made of high-strength steels
Based on the analysis of multi-pass welding technologies promising for use in the construction of main pipelines made of high-strength steels, a calculation of the main parameters of thermal welding cycles is presented. Their influence on the structure, hardness, and impact toughness of the metal of the near-weld area of welded joints made of K70 strength grade steel is investigated, and a rational range of its cooling rates is determined, ensuring mechanical properties at the standard level.
