Special features of metal structural and chemical inhomogeneity formation in the HAZ of binary alloys corresponding equilibrium diagrams of different types are considered. Research results of the high-temperature area in the HAZ are covered, and factors influencing on the inhomogeneity formation in the zone of fused crystal boundaries of metal are identified.

Bulkov A. B., Balbekov D. N., Peshkov V. V., Stryguin A. I. — Kinetics of physical contact development at diffusion welding of titanium

On the basis of modelling and experimental investigations carried out on the titanium samples with model asperity imitating roughness of real surfaces, influence of such parameters as temperature, pressure and microstructure of the welded workpieces on kinetics of physical contact development at diffusion welding is established. It is shown that some constant of time dimension can be used as an integral characteristic reproducing dynamics of the contact development process. Expressions describing dependence of this constant on the welding conditions characteristic are obtained.

Substantial effect of such structural factors as thickness steadiness, coating microhardness and non-porosity on the service properties of coating at microarc oxidation is established. Relationship between oxidation process-dependent parameters and structural features, and coating properties in the final analysis are show up.
