Varukha E. N. — The causes of the welding process instability in shielding gases with short-circuit of the arc gap 

On the basis of experimental studies of changes of the arc voltage and current at CO2 welding the causes of formation of unstable process with short-circuiting of the arc gap when using an inverter power source having a low self-inductance, were revealed. It is determined that voltage setting of the power source, corresponding to the transition boundary to instability region, nonlinearly increases with increasing of the wire feed rate and slope of the volt-ampere characteristics of the power source.
The empirical formula for the border of transition from an unstable to a stable process allows calculate the welding parameters for a region with a stable process with short circuits in shielding gases.

Nafikov M. Z. — Some parameters of the wire electrocontact welding

The pressure profile on the filler metal by welding of wire on the detail and tool side is built. The pressure on the more deformed part of the contact is constant and equal to the yield strength of the filler metal at a given temperature. On a remote part of the pressure varies exponentially. By welding on the optimal by the criterion of "strength of a welded joint" behavior, the size of the upper, less loaded parts of the contact is negligible. It is shown that friction in contact practically does not affect to the geometrical dimensions of the contact pads, but it can reduce performance of restore to 50 % and more. Recommendations for the preparation of wire and detail to weld are given.

The method of parametric identifying of algebraic equation system for depth and width of weld bead with registered process variables of electron-beam welding based on energetic balance ray is discussed. This method provides ability to control and to manage the form of smelting rate in high responsible materials welding.

Shcherbakov A. V., Rodyakina R. V., Gaponova D. A., Dragunov V. K. — Ionization of gases in welding electron guns

A technique for modeling the processes of ionization and scattering of electrons during the movement of electron beams through a gaseous medium in the area of accelerating space is proposed. The spatial distributions of ionization losses in the welding electron gun ELA-15I are calculated. The influence of space charge of ions on beams formation is studied. Trajectories and energy spectra of ions, which cross the cathode plane, are calculated. It is shown that the main contribution to the total current of ion beam (up to 80 %) are brought by particles with energies up to 5 keV.

Lukin V. I., Kulik V. I., Lukina Е. А., Ioda E. N., Sharov A. V., Samorukov M. L. — Friction welding with mixing of the pressed panel from the high-strength aluminum-lithium alloy B-1469

The post weld heat treatment influence on the level of mechanical properties, corrosion resistance, structure of pressed panel welds of Al-Li alloy V-1469 made on optimal regime of friction stir welding (FSW) is studied.
Laboratory testing of mechanical properties and corrosion resistance of pressed panel welds of Al-Li alloy V-1469, made on optimal friction stir welding (FSW)regime reveals that technological scheme: welding + tempering + artificial ageing ensures the following level of weld’s mechanical properties: UTSweld ≥ 0,83UTSbase, KCU ≥ 134 kJ/m intercrystalline corrosion — 0,09 mm, exfoliating corrosion — 3 mark.

The article presents the comparative studies results of the pipe steel welded joints made with coated electrodes of the following grades: LB-52MK, LB-52U, UONI-13/55. The analysis of joints for the presence of various defects is carried out. The types and morphology of the structures, as well as the mechanical properties of the metal, are established. From a comparative analysis of the obtained data, it is concluded that electrodes of domestic production provide the formation of the required set of properties at the level of foreign production electrodes.

Poletaev Yu. V., Poletaev V. Yu., Khubiev A. E. — Influence of the welding method on the structure and properties of welded joints of low-alloy steels 10GN2MFA and 15X2N MFA -VRV

Reducing overheating weld metal and ZTV ostaetsja one of the main problems of the manufacturing techniques of thick welded joints of steel 10GN2MFA and 15H2NMFA-VRV, way JeShS. The solution to the problem of improving the structural, chemical and mechanical homogeneity and technological strength of weld metal linked to the development of alternative JeShS techniques and welding methods to reduce overheating of the metal and get the desired structure and properties of the weld joints without normalization with a high release. It is shown that one pass automatic arc welding under a thin layer of slag, forced the formation of weld metal (AST) provides purposeful formation of structure and properties of welded joints of steel 10GN2MFA and 15H2NMFA-VRV, after high holiday, meeting the requirements of normative-technical documents.

The research results of electrofusion welding of polyethylene pipes PE100 SDR11 63Ѕ5,8 at ambient temperatures below permissible without the use of heated temporary covering are presented. The developed technology efficiency of electric welding at low temperatures is shown on the basis of the tests results of welded joints peeling.

On the basis of studies on location and of published dat analysis, it has been established that dangerous values of current (voltage) and resistance of the human body depend on the conditions of electric injuries (experiment) and lie in a wide range. Existing normative materials are developed only for one condition, therefore, according to the author; do not reflect the true current danger.
