Zorin I. V., Elsukov S. K., Sokolov G. N., Dubtsov Yu. N., Lysak V. I., Kharlamov V. O. — Investigation of the alloy Inconel 625 deposition process by a split electrode

The features of the arc existence on a split electrode during deposition are investigated, and the stability of the welding arc existence under fluxes based on various slag systems is estimated. The relationship between the coefficients of the transition to the deposited metal of the alloying elements and the characteristics of the stable existence of the welding arc during deposition on the straight line and reverse polarity is shown. The values range of the slope angle of the split electrode is established, at which a qualitative formation of the deposited metal is ensured with a minimum share of the base metal in it.

Efimenko N. G., Bartash S. N., Sitnikov P. A. — Metal cold resistance of the low-alloy steels welding joint, micro-alloyed REM

The effect of rare earth metals (REM), introduced into the electrode coating, on the mechanical properties, chemical composition and impact toughness at test temperatures from +20 to –70 °C deposited metal and metal of welding joint on steel 10ХSND was studied. The components of fracture under impact tests are determined: the work of crack initiation (KST3) and work of fracture (KSTr). The character of the fracture surface of the damaged samples is studied. There is an increase in the impact toughness of a metal, micro-alloyed REM, in the investigated temperature range of the tests.

Abrosin А. А., Khodakov V. D., Pevkin P. S., Nikitin V. B. — Research and development of the manufacturing technology of the low-speed turbines welded rotors for high-capacity nuclear power HCNP plants (VVER-1200)

The results of research of basic and welding materials are adduced. The rotor of a slow-moving turbine for HCNP manufactured using the developed complex technology is developed and put into operation. New welding materials, argon arc welding of root seams and automatic welding under the flux of the main joints in the slotted section are recommended; a thermal cycle for manufacturing welded rotors, including heating during welding, thermal waste and final heat treatment is indicated.

Shatov А. P. — Methods for protecting corrosion of the inner surface of steel vitrified pipes during welding

In work corrosion problems of welded steel vitrified pipelines and ways of their protection under the action of highly mineral water with hydrogen sulfide (water conduits) of oil-compressor stations are considered. It is established, that in order to eliminate the harmful effect of microalloying by boron of the welding seam, it is recommended to use the mentioned above welded joints of such pipelines as well as their repair.
In view of the presence of a glass coating, it is recommended that extreme safety precautions be taken when installing such pipelines, in order to avoid disruption of the continuity of the glass coating.

Golikov N. I. — Residual stresses at structures welding in conditions of low climatic temperatures

The article considers the theoretical prerequisites for estimating the residual welding stresses in the welding of structures in conditions of low climatic temperatures. It is shown that when welding under conditions of negative temperatures, residual stresses can create additional plastic deformations in the welded joint zones. Produced the estimate degree of possible plastic deformations and the level of stresses arising. Possible ways of reducing the influence of residual stresses on the cold resistance and operational strength of welded joints are given.

Slinko D. B., Dorokhov A. S., Denisov V. A., Lyalyakin V. P. — The practice of using plasma-powder deposition when restoring worn machine parts

The paper presents the results of experimental studies on the development of technology for the recovery of worn out balancer-caterpillars of tracked vehicles and semi-axes of the steps of the metro escalator by the method of plasma-powder overlaying. Specialized equipment and rigging for the implementation of the plasma-powder surfacing method and subsequent machining of the welded surfaces with respect to these parts has been developed. The marks of filler powders and their ratio have been experimentally established, ensuring a high quality of the deposited layer. Analysis of the structure made it possible to establish the absence of pores and cracks in the deposited layer and the zone of thermal influence.
