Mishmetal modifying effect on the distribution and evolution of the nonmetallics in the steel 4Х5МФС at die casting is covered. Metallographic examinations and energodispersive analysis are carried out, hardness and impact strength of the specimen, obtained at electroslag die casting, are determined.

Advantage of the electroaerial gouging as compared to other techniques of foundry defects elimination is considered. Research results (i. e. carbon content, metallographic, hardness) of the defect cutting with carbon-electrode electroaerial gouging and coated electrode welding on foundry goods from steel 09Х16Н4БЛ are given.

A new low-waste and energy-saving manufacturing technique of spur gears is considered. Advantages and disadvantages of the spur gear processing standard methods are analyzed. A method of producing forged pieces with completed gear ring in closed split dies is suggested.

Abbasov V. A., Guliyev A. A. —Abrasive disks' wears at the knurlling rollers profile grinding to contoure shutters flashing of the roofing sheets

Electrocorundum abrasive disks’ wear matters at profile-element circular grinding of knurl rollers for contouring shutters flashing of the roofing sheets are considered. Theoretical calculations are carried out to determine contact length between abrasive grains and machining shape of the knurl roller depending on the dimensions in different cross-sections.

Nabatnikov Yu. F. — Work-in-process reduction at selective assembly

Minimization of unfinished production while performing selective assembly is achieved by the way of completing holes of a certain dimension group with shafts of several dimension groups. Basing on numerical illustrations it is demonstrated that volume of unfinished production does not practically depend on quantity of joints and on distribution laws of hole and shaft dimensions.

Research results of the OT4-1 alloy samples, simulating three-layered honeycomb sandwich constructions, are covered. It is established that the factor, influencing on the welding process and on the diffusive junction quality, is thicknesses of the skin and filler materials ratio.

Disk spring geometrics design procedure is considered. A possibility to improve the calculations using methods given in the GOST is substantiated. Software allowing for optimizing spring parameters calculation is designed.

Shilov M. A. — On the lubricating layer computer simulation possibility

It is shown that in the process of interaction between surface and material when controlling adsorption, adhesion, wetting surfactant species play an important role. Research results of the interaction mechanism of the surfactant species of different nature and metallic surface open up wide possibilities for scientifically grounded approach to selection of the surfactant species and their compositions for directional effect on the phase boundary properties.
