Lebedev V. A., Sorokin M. S., Belov A. A. — Control algorithms for inverter power supply of welding current for electrode metal transfer parameter optimization

Means and engineering solutions aimed at improvement of welding process with arc space short circuit implement on the basis of special logical design to control operation of inverter power supply of welding current are considered. It is shown that both partial control of short circuit separate phases and total control to some extent solve the problems of power-and resource-saving, weld form control, quality of the executed welding work.

Zhernosekov A. M., Sidorets V. N., Shevchook S. A. — Combined impulse action of the shielding gas and welding current at consumable electrode welding

The directions of improving the process of welding with consumable electrode those allow implementing different types of metal transfer in welding steels through the combined effects of pulsed shielding gases and welding current have been determined. The features of the microstructure of the weld metal of low-alloy steels was been revealed.

Antonov A. A. — Investigation of the residual stress fields in welded structures

Analysis data of basic methods of testing residual stresses in welded structures are covered. Welded joints’ specific features limiting range of application of different methods are marked out. Aggregate investigation technology ensuring obtainment of a reliable result is suggested.

Golikov N. I., Sidorov M. M. — Analysis of the residual stress redistribution at cyclic loading of the welded joints

In this work investigate the redistribution of residual stress of welded joints of pipe joints of low-alloy steel upon cyclic loading. The results of measurement of residual stresses by X-ray method before and after an additional loading of samples subjected to the deformation of the shock processing and no treatment.

Dispersion kinetics research results of niobium and hafnium nano-films 100 nm thick depositedon the surfaces of the samples from alumina ceramics, sapphire and ZrO2-based ceramics at vacuum annealing at 1300—1600 °C and different pauses in the range of 2—20 minutes are described.

Shatov A. P., Onosov G. V., Steklov O. I. — Upgrading of welded structures with antirust paint-and-lacquer coating

Research results of qualitative welds obtainment techniques on steel constructions with anticorrosion priming coatings are covered. In order to obtain defectless seam (without faulty fusion and voids) it is advisable to make corrections of the welding conditions taking into consideration firing rate of the welding arc for coating burn.

Kolokolnikov S. M. — Determination of the weld metal mechanical properties by the hardness parameters in the stress concentration zones revealed by the method of metal magnetic memory

Research results of stress-strain properties of welded joints are described. The investigation is based on no-sample-used method in which indenter materials testing is carried out in the stress concentration zones preliminary revealed by the method of metal magnetic memory.

Power inputs at wear-resistant surfacing on functional surfaces of automatic coupler using different reinforcement techniques are considered. Comparison of energy intensity is drawn by measurement of temperature fields’ kinetics using infrared imager. Temperature distribution along coupler shank is shown.

Sas A. V., Grouzintsev B. P. — Fundamentals of creating a system for efficient training of highly skilled operator of manual arc welding

It is shown that for a significant reduction in time and cost in preparing highly qualified welders, they must be trained and professional selection be based on the provisions of ergonomics, psychology and pedagogy, using technical means. It is shown that the introduction of an effective system of training highly skilled welders need for training of masters for the new program.
