Bekayev A. A., Skoromnov V. M. — Enhancing manufacturing capability of the broaching process by regularization of the tool working surface

In the present work possibility using a regular microrelief (RMR), the working element of the tool generated on a surface, for reception of better surfaces processed apertures in process deforming insertion broaching is checked experimentally up. As a result of the spent researches are established corresponding dependences and high efficiency of application RMR of a profile of the tool in a certain range of tightnesses of plastic deformation is revealed.

Ragrin N. A. — Impact of machining conditions on the physical analogue of tool wear resistance at drilling

It is shown that cutting rate relevant to maximum durability of the fast-cutting twist drill when machining carbon structural steels remains invariable while feed, gage and hardness of work material change. Maximal resistance increases when gage is enlarged, and goes down when hardness of work material grows and feeding is altered relatively its best value.

Research results of static behaviour of the aerostatic spindle bearing allowing control of the operating mode are covered. Influence of the modulator pressure imposing characteristic of the stabilizing regulator suspension on rigidity and functionability of the bearing is revealed.

Impact of the contact interaction between titanium and steel equipment under conditions of diffusion welding on titanium creep is established. An equation is obtained, which allows determining welding pressure necessary for welding titanium blanks which are under restricted conditions.

Isakayev E. Kh., Mordynsky V. B., Tyuftyayev A. S., Penkova G. I. — Wear resistance study of the modified surfaces of the wheel — rail friction pair

A methodology of comparative tests aimed towards the assessment of hardening technologies concerning the tribological pair wheel-rail is developed. The method allows determination of critical values of pressure and flange wear providing a work without jamming (attrition wear) and of a revolution number needed for the full wear of hardened layer. Testing results are presented for plasma surface treatment and ultrasonic finishing of flanges of new and used tires.

An Integrated study for the steel grade F6NM was performed. This steel grade was used for the gate valve body manufacture. A crack appeared inside ring gasket groove. Crack’s morphology was investigated, it’s origine and growth was detected.

Silantyev D. A. — Task aufbau principle on the basis of R-functional modelling

The majority of economic tasks is based on the optimization settings creating group of methods of mathematical optimization. These methods in combination with opportunities of the modern computer equipment allow to decide rather broad spectrum of application-oriented tasks. At the heart of the solution of each optimization task the problem of its correct setting expressed in the description of boundary conditions and the law of target dependence lies. In operation some principles of creation of optimization tasks on the basis of the R-functional simulation and their decision by a graded-index method using computer and graphic approach are considered.
