CONSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS, PHYSICAL METALLURGY

Kochanova A. V., Grogoryants A. G., Kochanov D. S., Drenin А. А. — Obtaining composite products with a metal matrix by selective laser melting

In this review article the works devoted to the parts formation from composite materials in the process of selective laser melting are considered. Composite materials are of great interest, as they allow to combine the useful properties of the compositeconstituent elements and expand parts manufacturingpossibilities. Parts manufacturing from composites by selective laser melting (SLM) is interesting because the composite material is formed during thebuild process. There is a wide opportunity to combine the composition of the raw material for powder. Special attention is paid to composites with TiC-reinforced steel matrix. Carbide is able to improve performance and reduce the weight of the product due to low density. The formation of the composite in the process of SLM is not fully investigated, and creates prerequisites for a more in-depth study.

TECHNOLOGIES AND EQUIPMENT OF MECHANICAL, PHYSICOTECHNICAL PROCESSING, PRESSURE TREATMENT

Zhukova A. V., Nurzhanova O. A., Musaev М. М. — Effect of setting the transverse of the cutting tool relative to the workpiece on the accuracy of processing during shaped turning

The influence of the transverse position changing of the form cutter relative to the blank on the size scatter diagram is considered. Calculations for a three-step small shaft part after the form cutter is displaced 0.02 mm closer to the part axis are performed. Size scatter graphs for a given part are plotted.

TECHNOLOGIES AND MACHINES FOR WELDING PRODUCTION AND RELATED PROCESSES

Tsumarev Yu. A., Sinitsa A. N., Lupachev A. V., Latypova E. Yu., Latun T. S. — Reducing stress concentration when making tie-ins into the main pipeline

The features of insert work into main pipelines under the influence of internal pressure are considered. It is shown, that the welded joint of the branch with the main pipeline creates a significant stress concentration due to the presence of a through hole.
The maximum value of the operating stresses occurs on the inner surface of the main pipe in the longitudinal section with respect to it. To reduce the stress concentration, a new design of the insert is proposed, a distinctive feature of which is an elliptical hole instead of the known design with a round hole. The optimal relationship between the values of the ellipse axes equal to 12/7, which provides the minimum stress level under conditions of loading pipes by the internal working pressure, is established. A comparative calculation of stress fields, the results of which showed that replacing a round hole with an elliptical one provides a decrease in the level of maximum stresses by 1.54 times, is carried out.

ECONOMY AND ORGANIZATION OF PRODUCTION

Makarov G. I., Ivantsova S. G. — Import substitution policy strategy of the corrosion-resistant steels for the welding isothermal tanks for liquefied natural gases

The article considers the import substitution issues of corrosion-resistant steels for liquefied natural gases double-walled isothermal tankswelding. It’s shown that the imported steel X7Ni9 and AISI 304 used at the internal tank welding can be replaced by the domestic corrosion-resistant (stainless) austenitic steels, cold-resistant at cryogenic temperatures up to minus 196 °C. It’s proposed to change the design of the liquefied natural gas double-walled isothermal tank, excluding the external reinforced concrete casing, and save only the outer metal shell.

Zagidullin R. R. — Optimization of the technological equipment population for subject-closed areas

The forming method of the technological equipment optimal composition for subjectclosed sections (SCS) of the machine-building enterprises is considered. The different alternative for building SCSs based on the theory of queuing are analyzed; models and their corresponding objective functions, as well as recommendations for the formation of multinomenclature SCSs that can be used in small-scale and mass production are developed. The proposed models have universal nature.
