Gnyusov S. R, Khaydarova A. A., Sovetchenko B. F. — Influence of the welding manner on the structure and properties of the welded joints from heterogeneous steels

Influence of the pulsed arc welding conditions values and of the electrodes ОЗЛ-8 (OZL-8), НИАТ-5 (NIAT-5), ЭА-395/9 (EA-395/9) on the structure and properties of the two-layer steel (12X18H10T-20) is studied. The most significant parameters influencing on the welded joints’ properties are established. On the base of the welds’ bend angles analysis optimal pulsed arc welding conditions and an electrode type are determined for two-layer steel welding.
Key words: welded joints, heterogeneous steels, pulsed arc welding, mode parameters

Kovtunov A. I., Sidorov V. P., Chermashentseva T. V. — Refining process features at welding aluminized steel with oxidizing feed of air

Aluminium content reduction in the weld metal occurs as a result of aluminium oxidation in the weld pool and precipitation of aluminium oxide into slag at welding aluminized steels in active gas and gas mixtures. Additional feed of highly oxidizing gases from the other side of the welding bath at welding in active gaseous medium allows for reaching an even reduction of aluminium content in the weld metal and for improving mechanical characteristic of the welded joints from aluminized steels.
Key words: gas mixture, weld metal, feed of air, aluminium content, ultimate strength, specific elongation

Korobeynikov S. N., Babkin A. S. — Modelling of the heat-affected zone structure formation at welding mode optimal parameter calculation algorithm design

A welding conditions values calculation algorithm for low-alloy steels ensuring optimal structural composition of metal in the heat-affected zone is developed.
Key words: modelling, welding, structure, parameters

Shtrikman M. M., Pinsky A. V., Filatov A. A., Koshkin V. V., Mezentseva Ye. A., Gook N. V. — Manufacturing capability for the weld porosity reduction at argon-arc welding of aluminium alloys

Aluminium argon-arc welded joints porosity formation cause analysis is carried out, particularly that of aluminium-lithium alloy 1424. Feasible production methods of reducing voids’ quantity in the joints are considered.
Key words: aluminium, aluminium-lithium alloys, weld pool, voids, nucleation/initiation, degassing

Martynov V. N., Khokhlovsky A. S., Sliva A. P. — Electron-beam welding of steels, aluminium and titanium alloys of large thickness

Conditions for vertical weld defectless formation at horizontal electron-beam welding are shown and power complex selection methods to weld thick-walled constructions by electron beam is developed. Dependences to estimate electron-beam welding optimal conditions are obtained.
Key words: electron-beam welding, weld seam formation, power complex, procedure

Gousev D. Ye., Senkevich K. S., Shlyapin S. D., Kollerov M. Yu. — Technological features of obtaining porous implants by diffusive welding and thermohydrogenous treatment

Technology of obtaining porous titanium implants of vertebrae and intervertebral disks by diffusion welding is developed. It is established that additional thermohydrogenous treatment allows for increasing welded strength of the construction and lowering welding heat. Means to improve cutability of the porous titanium constructions by thermohydrogenous treatment are shown.
Key words: diffusion welding, titanium alloys, porous materials, thermohydrogenous treatment, structure, strength

PRODUCTION SECTION

Smirnov I. V., Zakharenko A. I. — Heating force control at nonconsumable electrode arc welding

Analysis of the existing heating force control modes at nonconsumable electrode arc welding of groove faces is carried out. Methods and experimental investigation results allowing for determining application field of the arc attitude positioning due to changing characteristic of its inherent magnetic field at nonconsumable electrode argon-arc welding by current up to 200 A are covered.
Key words: heating force, groove face, argon-arc welding, attitude position

Biryukov A. P., Mishachev A. P., Bardin A. I., Romanov A. V. — Study of the For-sage welding apparatus run capabilities supplied by mobile off-line power source

Electric power station operating conditions at feeding single-phase welding apparatus of the "Forsage-160, -160АД, -200" series and three-phase welding apparatus of the "Forsage" series are given. It is shown that feeding of the single-phase and three-phase devices by the mobile power plant as part of mobile welding station is safe.

Savinov A. V., Atamanyuk V. I., Lapin I. Ye., Lysak V. I., Permyakov I. L., Po-lessky O. A. — Effect of the shielding gas composition and of the nonconsumable cathode construction on the arc penetrating power and weld seam formation

Processing features of d. c. arc in helium and its mixtures with argon are considered, using nonconsumable electrodes of three types, i.e. with conic grinding of the working area, butt end cavity, and bi-metal composite. Influence of the electrode working area construction and shielding gas composition on the depth, width and penetration shape ratio, as well as on the weld seam formation quality is investigated.
Key words: arc, penetrating power, electrodes, weld seam formation
