Results of metal powders selective laser sintering technology application to manufacture products with axial symmetry are covered. Pilot production laser jet created on the base of high-power industrial CO2-laser and manipulator five-axis bench is described. Metallographic analysis of the obtained products verified generation of composite structures with high service properties.

Anakhov S. V., Pykin Yu. A., Matushkin A. V., Shakurov S. A. — Gas-dynamic features of plasmatron designing

The analysis of several plasmotrons for metal cutting is done. Influence of the air-gas path features on their dynamic and power characteristics is investigated. Principles of designing for cutting plasmotrons are offered, allowing to raise efficiency and acoustic safety of their work. Approximating dependences for the simplified analysis of designed constructions efficiency are resulted.

Sakhno L. I., Likhachiov D. I., Sibirko A. S. — Inverter frequency influence on the transformer mass of the resistance-welding machine

A transformer magnetic conductor cross-section area calculation method is suggested for a resistance-welding machine inverter power supply in broad of frequency variation. A cross-section area dependence on frequency is obtained for a transformer with ironclad magnetic conductor and sandwich winding. It is shown that cross-section of the magnetic conductor is minimal at definite frequency of inverter.

Yazovskikh V. M., Belenkiy V. Ya. — Thermal processes at surfacing cylindrical solids by strip electrode

Strip-electrode surfacing thermal patterns of solid hollow length-limited cylinders is developed. The models are constructed when solving heat conduction equation in cylindrical coordinates by Green function method. With the help of the obtained models it is possible to evaluate weld beads geometry, thermal cycles of different areas both at circular and helical-path surfacing. Temperature fields’ computation at surfacing by a strip 50 mm wide is covered. Computation and plotting are carried out by the instrumentality of the Mathcad software.

Shiganov I. N., Samarin P. Ye. — Investigation of the slip-layer binder composition and further layer flashing by the fiber laser radiation

This article describes methods for producing wear-resistant coatings, among which method of melting of preplaced coatings by fiber laser radiation takes a special place. Different variants of binders to create slip layer were discussed. Polyester resin was selected as the binder, since it meets all the requirements for creating of slip coating.

Mayorov L. N., Taksants M. V. — Capture of the welding zone image data for control systems

Protection methods of computer vision photodetectors against hazardous interference of the welding process are considered. Practice-proven engineering solutions reducing to admissible minimum this effect are described. Approach to accent lighting metallic surfaces of the welded components of plane, cylindrical and spherical forms are covered. Optical schemes of booster light and advises on the parameters selections are given.
