Demidov V. V., Guskova Ye. V., Polyanskov Yu. V. — Tooth profile accuracy of the wheel machined by involute gear hobbing cutters with positive rakes

Influence of involute gear hobbing cutters profiling by computer simulation method on the base of involute, convolute and Archimedean worms, number of starts and value of the positive face angle of the mill teeth on cylindrical wheel teeth profile error of 3 mm module and with teeth number from 20 to 135 is investigated. Teeth profile expected error prediction technique after gear milling on a machine with involute gear hobbing cutter with positive face rakes is suggested.

Pimenov D. Yu., Guzeyev V. I. — Compliance calculation of the unit milling cutter — arbour at face milling

The given article describes the process of strain of a mill and a mill arbor by means of traditional equations of theory of elasticity. The compliance of the mill and the mill arbor along the axis of mill’s rotation that forms the machined size at face milling is calculated.

Using phenomenological theory calculation of stressed state and of fracture criteria in the cutting area is carried out. This makes it possible to prove an equivalent participation of compression and bending in the process. Physical relations are established in the cutting system, which favours forming actual mechanism of chip forming.

Tabakov V. P., Chikhranov A. V., Smirnov M. Yu., Osipov M. A. — Machining tool multiple abrasion resistant coating on the base of modified titanium nitride

Estimation procedure of the cyclic crack growth resistance of the machine tooling sandwich wear-resistant coating and design data on cyclic crack growth resistance estimate are covered. It is shown that increase of cyclic crack growth resistance results in lower cutting tool wear rate and accordingly in higher effective tool life.

Zorina Ye. M. — Structure principle improvement of the system of limits and tolerances

Development results of a new tolerance value table based on the principle of golden section are given. A step-by-step construction process of the above said table is shown. Tolerance values have become tougher, which calls on the times in connection with application of high-precision equipment.

The review of passive heat transfer intensifiers, mathematic description of the spiral-shaped pipes (SSP), comparative analysis data of the flow performance of a viscous incompressible fluid in the asymmetric spiral-shaped pipes (aSSP) in relation to the round pipes in currents of the laminar and turbulent flow. A model is proposed for calculation of geometry SSP. The perspectives of the using SSP in heat exchangers is shown.

Gas-static treatment special features of moulded pieces from alloys on the base of Ni3Al intermetallide are considered, casting of model quenched blades taken as an example. Effect of different modes of high-temperature gas-static treatment on the microstructure and microporosity of the blades from the Ni3Al-based alloy for equiaxed casting is studied.

Arkhipov V. Ye., Londarskiy A. F., Melshanov A. F., Moskvitin G. V., Pugachiov M. S. — Steel combined strengthening by gas-dynamic treatment

On the base of durometric analysis data a possibility of strengthening steel 40Х by corundum up to 2•10–4 in depth using gas-dynamic equipment is shown. Obtainable degree of strain hardening is 25 per cent. Static loading fracture strength test allowed for optimizing corundum process parameters. Combined gas-dynamic treatment by solid and plastic particles does not lower hardening effect and may become a prospective approach to higher resource of steel pieces.

Kosarevskiy S. V., Latypov V. N. — Thread parameter recognition algorithm by data obtained from the coordinate measuring systems and computer-aided tomography devices

Basics of method allowing carrying out elementwise and complex thread control on the base of data obtained from the coordinate measuring and computer-aided tomography systems are considered. Experimental part of the investigation is carried out using artificially generated and live data for different threads on X-ray CT-scanner Carl Zeiss Metrotom 1500.
