Zandberg A. S. — Design basis of the welded sealing structures for main pipelines. Plain steel chops

Geometry and stress-strain facet of chop mounting and loading are considered, i.e. a welded repair construction used for load-carrying ability rehabilitation of main pipeline sections corroded by reach-through holes by 3—40 mm in diameter. On the base of modeling interaction of repair construction component parts defining relationship for chop and weld seam design study is obtained.

Sarayev Yu. N., Selivanov Yu. V. — Performance and quality evaluation of the 12X18H10T steel equipment rehabilitation

Performance and quality evaluation research results of repair and rehabilitation of the equipment made from austenitic steels of the 12X18H10T type are given. It is shown that in order to improve repair work productivity under conditions of increased processing hazard and harmfulness it is most expedient to practice manual covered electrode arc surfacing by the method of current-modulated welding.

Vyboyschik L. M., Louchkin R. S., Ioffe A. V. — Corrosion stability assurance of the oil-pipelines tubing welded joints at the weld metal level

It is established that one can obtain structural state of the welded joints and correspondingly trength properties and corrosive characteristics of the joints at the weld metal level for oil-pipeline tubes high-frequency welded under certain conditions of after-weld heat treatment. Requirements and welded joint structure standard samples ensuring high corrosion stability of the welded pipes are developed.

Potapov N. N., Rymkevich A. I., Roschin M. B. — Metallurgical processes features at structural steel ESW using fluxes of low basicity

It has studied some metallurgical characteristics of electroslag process, carried out with a use of low-activity fluxes with low basicity. Increasing concentrations of silica in the flux-slag to 15—25 %, leads to the improvement of technological characteristics of electroslag process and provides a satisfactory melt metal desulphurization. When the concentration of silica is more than 25 %, significantly increases the oxygen concentration and total content of nonmetallic inclusions in the melt metal.

The method and automated device for the scratching test of materials by a sharp-ended indenter penetrated at a given depth are developed. The efficiency of application of a method and a device for revealing the distribution of mechanical properties in local zones of welded joints are shown.

Pavlov N. V., Kryukov A. V., Zernin Ye. A. — Temperature fields distribution at gas-mixture welding with electrode wire pulse feeding

Application results of Ar—CO2 gas-mixture mechanized welding with electrode wire pulse feeding are covered. It is established that argon added to the composition of the shielding medium favours 5—10 per cent heat input reduction in the parent metal.

Novoseltsev Yu. G., Krylov V. M. — Arc gas-and-magnetic stabilization at plasma metal working

Research results of the magnetic field strength effect on the near-electrode areas’ speed are given. Rational application of the binary hydrogen-containing mixtures for making stabilized arc gaseous atmosphere at plasma treatment is established.

Volkov S. S., Shestel L. A., Sokolov V. A. — Process features of the multilayer film materials ultrasonic welding

Properties of some multilayer films and their welding techniques are considered. An experimental setup to weld multilayer films on a rotating roller is design. A waveguide with shaping work area is developed aimed at strengthening near-seam zone and improve welded strength integrally.
