Yemelyushin A. N., Sychkov A. B., Manin V. P., Sheksheyev M. A. — Welded joints’ structure and mechanical properties investigation of the steel of K56 strength class at different characteristic of welding conditions

Research results of hand welding conditions parameter effect on the structure and mechanical properties of the welded joints from low-carbon low-alloyed pipe steel of the K56 strength class are covered. It is showed that ferrite and pearlite are formed in the shape of grains and of Widmanstatten pattern in the area of overheat at different combinations of the values of welding current and of welding rate in the heat affected zone. Using method of planned experiment retrogressive dependencies for the metal hardness and impact strength in the overheat area on the controllable welding characteristic are obtained.

Senchenkov I. K., Chervinko O. P., Ryabtsev I. A., Babinets A. A. — Determination of the welded parts’ operation life at cyclic thermal and mechanical load

A method of calculation of the stress-strain state and resource of the using of deposited parts under the influence of cyclic, thermal and mechanical loads. The method makes it possible to study the history of stressing in each point of a deposited part, to choose appropriate models of destruction and basing on them to locate the centers of destruction and to estimate the resource of the deposited part in the process of using.

Boulkov A. B., Safonov S. V., Balbekov D. N., Petrenko V. R., Peshkov V. V. — Surface microgeometry effect on kinetics of contact development at titanium diffusion welding

Test results of the titanium samples with model asperities simulate real surface roughness showed that factors influencing on the development of welding process and quality of the diffused joint arc microstructure of the workpiеce and surface finish. It is established that some constant having time dimension can be used as integral characteristic of contact development between the joinable workpieces under conditions of diffusion welding.

Chigarev V. V., Gavrish P. A., Gribkov E. P. — Flux cored wire drawing operating conditions improvement

The designed automated software takes into account geometry changes during the process of wire drawing, mechanical properties and conditions of contact friction along the deformation zone, as well as plastic deformation conditions of an envelope and parameters of its fracture. A possibility of manufacturing defect-free flux cored wires at minimal transition count is confirmed.

Matviyenko V. N., Leschinskiy L. K., Stepnov K. K., Schebanits E. N., Omelyanenko N. I. — Hardening of forming rolls by surfacing using alloyed strip electrode and ceramic flux

The development of strip electrode composition for hardfacing of hot mill rolls has allowed the enhancement of impact toughness, ductility and thermal fatigue fracture resistance of deposited layers. For additional alloying to increase the hardness and wear resistance of deposited metal the ceramic flux is used. The composition of new ceramic flux improves the welding characteristics of the process and has low relative chemical activity compared to deposited metal. Rolling performance of the restored hot mill rolls in terms of rolling amount per 1 mm diameter reduction becomes greater.

Guerasimov A. I., Danzanova Ye. V. — Method development of butt weld strength determination for polymeric pipes

A test method of polymeric pipes’ butt welds is considered. When testing welded joints fracture occurs in the place of flash-off; this allows determining weld strength quantitatively. Results of the welded joints’ tests carried out by the method are covered, the welds conducted at different conditions and temperature of the environment. It is established that under conditions of low temperature it is rational to preheat weldable bearing faces of polymeric pipes.
