Khorev А. I. — Weldable high strength (α + β)-titanium alloy VT43 for advanced welded structures

The paper presents the results of fundamental and applied research aimed at increasing the resource and reliability of welded power parts and structures of aviation, rocket and space equipment, ensuring a sharp increase in its competitive ability. To solve this problem a comprehensive approach is applied at a new level of knowledge, including: complex alloying, thermal and thermomechanical processing. A comprehensively alloyed high-strength structural titanium alloy VT43 of a new generation is developed for universal use, from which all types of semi-finished products can be made to create monolithic, welded and brazed structures. Mechanical properties, operational and economic characteristics, which show a significant superiority of (α+β)-alloy VT43 over β-alloys VT22 and Ti—10V—2Fe—3Al (USA) are adduced.

TECHNOLOGIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR MECHANICAL AND PHYSICOTECHNICAL PROCESSING, PRESSURE TREATMENT

Chudin V. N. — Variation estimation of local hot upset forging mode

Relations are proposed for calculating the kinematics, pressure, and material damage during the sludging of blanks with local heating. The material in the deformation zone is rigidly plastic. The scheme of deformations is flat. A variational method of calculating pressure is used based on the extremal upper-limit plasticity theorem.

Soshko A. I., Soshko V. A., Grubnik A. V. — The influence mechanism of the lubricant-cooling technological means (LCTM) on the metal damage during cutting

The mechanism of reduction of strength and fracture of metal during machining by cutting in the presence of lubricating-cooling technological medium (LCTM) is substantiated.
It is established that the main factors facilitating deformation and damage are not reversible (adsorption) interactions between the body and the surface active medium, but contact interactions of positively charged hydrogen particles with catalytically and electrically active surfaces newly formed during the cutting process. Based on the generalization of research results, a model of LCTM activation with the formation of hydrogen plasma is proposed, possible forms of interaction of nanoscale electrically active hydrogen particles with a metal are described and it is shown that the improvement in the manufacturability of metal in polymer-containing LCTM is due to the mechanoplasma effect under combined mechanical and thermal action. Results of industrial tests confirming the effectiveness of mechanoplasmic treatment are adduced.

SPECIAL TYPES OF TECHNOLOGIES

Malinov L. S., Malinov V. L., Burova D. V. — Improving the wear resistance of low-carbon deposited metal with different manganese content due to the formation production of metastable austenite in the structure

It has been established that heating of a low-carbon deposited metal containing ~5, ~8 % Mn and additionally ~3 % Cr having a martensitic structure to an intercritical temperature interval (ITI) provides a secondary metastable austenite, which undergoes a dynamic deformation martensitic transformation (self-hardening effect under loading). This significantly increases the wear resistance at dry sliding friction and impact abrasive action of the shot stream. The deposited metal with a higher manganese content (~14 %) yield to the wear resistance under conditions of dry sliding friction of a metal containing 5 and 8 % of manganese, but has a higher wear resistance than it when subjected to impact-abrasive action of the shot stream.

METHODS OF CONTROL AND DIAGNOSTICS IN MECHANICAL ENGINEERING

Berdnik М. М., Berdnik А. G. — Prospects for the use of coercimetry to estimate the parameters of the stress-strain state of structures

Coercitive force as a function of the metal parameters, for uniaxial tension, biaxial stress, uniaxial sheas under torsion, is considered, it is shown that actually coercitive force is directly related to internal deformations, the coercitive force decreasing as deformations grow, which admittedly can be explained by the current perceptions about the 'rotation texture" of magnetic domains. Using coercimetery method is not expedient for structures that are subjected to stretching for when internal deformations reach a certain value tne coercitive foice attains a constant value, and the method loses its sensitivity.
At the same time, negative deformations always lead to higher coercitive force which makes the method rather sensitive when estimating the structures subjected to compression, A unified dependence confirming the suggested assumptions was figured. The final expressions were suggested that make it possible to define components of the principal strain tensor with reference to the known coercitive force values measured along principal axes and thus to obtain information on the stressed-defonned state of the structure's metal.

Yangirov I. F., Ismagilov F. R., Maksudov D. V. — Method for determining the location of damage to the anchor winding of the collector machine (Device of Control of Anchor Wrapping — DCAW)

In the article, it is shown theoretically and experimentally that it is expedient to detect a QSW in an UDC by definition of Q, and the method is universal, i.e. can be used in practice for any inductive elements.

MATHEMATICAL MODELING, NUMERICAL METHODS, PROGRAM COMPLEXES

Latypova E. Yu., Tsumarev Yu. A. — Computer finite element analysis of the carrying capacity of single-seam overlap welded joints

A computer-aided finite element analysis of the stress state of overlap single-seam welded joints of various types is carried out, as a result of which comparative data on the distribution of operating stresses due to the axial load is obtained. The results of the analysis showed the low efficiency of traditional recommendations for increasing the bearing capacity of fillet in a single-seam lap joint by smoothing the transition from the seam to the base metal. The data on the high technical and economic efficiency of the preparation for welding in the form of a skarfed edge at the end of the joined part are adduced. Information on the possibility of improving the economic performance of the joint by optimizing the bevel design are adduced.

AUTOMATION AND CONTROL OF TECHNOLOGICAL PROCESSES AND MANUFACTURES, CAD

Novikov О. А. — A modular approach to creating a system for complex automation designing of the technological processes

The feasibility of creating CAD for technological processes on a modular basis is justified in the article. On the basis of screen scenes, a methodology for describing a particular design task (Description of mills for cutting shoulders and grooves) in the system of complex automation of technological (SCAT) preparation of production through the use of tools of the SCAT module is stated. These tools allow any technologist of the chief technologist department in a dialogue mode with the IS to describe the great number of design tasks. The initial data for the similar task solution at designing technological processes are selected from the correspondence tables (the table in which matrix plurality of property values corresponding to one or a subset of elements is represented). The launch of the project task in the technological editor SCAT allows to significantly reduce the time spent on the design of the TP. The increase in the work productivity at the designing of the TP is explained by the fact that the time for designing the TP is spent only on the choice of the project task from the base of the design tasks, the input of the initial data at the start of the project and the correction of the results in the technological editor SCAT.
