Ivanov V. S., Ivanov D. V., Karpenko A. P., Moor D. A. — Bi-rotor multipoint machining conditions multicriterion optimization of the round-shaped parts
A two-parameter two-criterion optimization problem of bi-rotor finishing conditions of shaft-type round-shaped parts at turn-milling is considered. Rates of cutting speed and of tool traverse are variable parameters of the task, and minute traverse and tool durability are objective functions. To solve the problem a variation of adaptive problem-solving procedure of multicriterion optimization is used, which is based on function approximation of decision-maker preferences by means of apparatus for neuro-fuzzy implication ANFIS.

Malikov A. A., Sidorkin A. V., Yamnikov A. S. — Dynamic behaviour of the spiral gear shaving-rolling
Dynamic behaviour research results of the new high-productive resource-saving process of spiral gears combined cutting-deforming working by shaving-rolling are given. A step-by-step force change in the pair blank – shaver-roller along the whole cycle of machining is shown. Surface microhardness of bearing is determined.

Abrasive-air mixture preparation processes are considered. Main problems arising when feeding abrasive into the mixing zone by fast fluid jet are disclosed. Abrasive feeding methods are analysed.

Lyashkov A. A. — Generating tool shaping by auxiliary surface
A generating tool shaping technique based on 2D-3D problem change is covered. This approach assumes an introduction of an auxiliary surface, geometry features of which may be obtained on the base affine transformation usage. The results allow solving the assigned problem by means of computer graphics visually modelling the generation of geometry.

Spirin V. A., Guilev A. V., Titova L. S. — Spiral downhole motor rotor surface roughness prediction at globoid teeth honing
An output parameters design procedure of final abrasive machining process is described. The procedure allows predicting working surface finish quality of geometrically-complex and toothed parts depending on the machining conditions. An as-machined surface roughness design procedure is offered, and a mathematical model of rotor surface roughness parameter determination varying 16 independent variables is set forth.

Research results of the influence of ceramic particles dispersity, their composition, and plasma process data on the spherical product output, polydisperse microcomposites’ interrelation of spheroidization and amorphization, as well as spheroidization effectiveness and amorphization rate of polydisperse ceramic particles under conditions of low-temperature plasma are covered.

Khopin P. N. — Dry-lubricant coating performance on the specially machined surfaces
Research results of base machining different techniques before dry-lubricant coating (carbonitriding, plasma sublayer), providing better operating capacity of the above mentioned conjugations are covered. It is established that dry-lubricant coatings on the carbonitrided sublayers (N + С) are more durable on the high-alloyed steels (30CrMoV9) with higher hardness (500 HV). The best durability showed samples with dry-lubricant coating which undergone preliminary carbonitriding up to hardness close to the hardness of the counter-sample.

Shitikov V. S. — Signal processing technique application to improve geometry measurements efficiency by the vortexcurrent method
Rolled metal characteristic measurements procedure by the vortex-current method of non-destructive testing is offered. Different means of tuning out from the impeding factors using algorithms of digital signal processing are considered. Application effectiveness of the method based on Fourier transform for analysis of electromagnetic field space distribution obtained from signal distribution in several vortex-current spaced transducers is shown.
