The article presents the results of the investigation of the influence of varying energy parameters of the arc welding regime with coated electrodes of various grades and types on the stability of heat and mass transfer. It is shown that in the case of welding technology with a pulsed change in the energy parameters of the regime, a favorable effect on the heat content of the weld pool and the conditions for its crystallization are provided. Prospects for continuing research with a view to improving the performance of welded structures of a responsible design due to optimization of welding parameters are substantiated.

Are the test results on the slow trjohtochechnyj bending the metal tube of austenitic steels, during which defined the criterion of numerical evaluation of viscosity of destruction.
Developed compact device and method of testing of samples in the form of plates with a deep notch, which enable you to define the criterion of numerical evaluation of viscosity of destruction at the stage of assessing the properties of structural steels, including tensile test at room temperature samples from base metal and weld metal electrodes of two brands: with rutilovym and fluorine-calcium coating. The results of the test confirm the effectiveness of the proposed criterion. Method and device for efficient and allow you to perform tests on a small volume of material.

Kalin B. A., Ivannikov A. A., Suchkov A. N., Sevryukov O. N., Bachurina D. M., Penyaz M. A., Fedotov I. V., Dzhumaev P. S. — Investigation of the influence of the composition of nickel alloy-solders on the structuralphase state of brazed joints of corrosion-resistant steels

The investigation results of diffusion brazing process of corrosion-resistant steels from austenite (12Х18N10Т) and ferritic-martensitic classes (16Kh12МVSFBR) through the use of nickel boron-containing solders STEMET 1301A (Ni-7Cr-3,5Fe-4,5Si-2,6B), STEMET 1350 (Ni-19Cr-9Co-6Si-5,5Mo-1,3B), Ni-7Cr-7,5Si-1,5B and Ni-22Cr-7,5Si-1,5B mass % is stated. It is shown that the soldered joints and the heat-affected zone have a complex heterogeneous structure. Experiments to determine the mechanism of boride nucleation have shown that borides are formed during isothermal exposure irrelatively with the iron phase transition γ → α. It is established that the concentration of boron and chromium in the alloy-solder plays an important role in the formation of the structure. An increase the chromium content in the solder makes it possible to avoid the steel depletion relating to chromium in the heat-affected zone, but this is accompanied by the formation of new phases, borides and silicides in the center of the seam.

Shatov A. P. — Properties of welded joints of steel pipes of anticorrosion aluminum-coated, welded in carbon dioxide

In the paper, the operational properties of steel pipes with and without aluminum coating, made by mechanized welding in carbon dioxide with the consumable electrode Св-08Г2С, are considered. It is established that when welding on an aluminum metallization coating with a thickness of 240—360 μm, the cold-shortness threshold shifts toward positive temperatures. To prevent this phenomenon the use of paste flux is provided, which makes it possible to shift the cold-shortness threshold of welded joint patterns towards negative temperatures (–40 °C), by transferring oxide inclusions from the metal of the molten bath to the slag, and thereby eliminating the harmful effect of these oxides on the mechanical properties of welded joints.

It was found that during the ultrasonic welding of plastics mutual diffusion of polymer molecules happens on the surfaces to be welded in the temperature range corresponding to a plastic condition of polymers. It is suggested that the heat source for ultrasonic welding of plastics are hysteresis loss. It is found that the transfer of ultrasonic energy to the weld zone depends on the elastic properties and the oscillation damping coefficient of weldable polymers. It shows the essence of the process of contact and transfer ultrasonic welding.
