Lukoyanov A. V. — Void formation in the weld metal at automatic argon-arc welding of titanium alloys

Estimation procedure of gas porosity origin conditions in the weld metal is given by an example of automatic argon-arc welding of titanium alloys on the base of equation of pore motion in the metal of welding puddle and of equation of instantaneous cooling point rate of the welding puddle. Theoretical calculation is verified by the results of X-ray control of the samples.

A calculation procedure of heating area dimensions aimed at protecting titanium from oxidation during welding, in particular of the solid metal zones in which Celsius temperature is 400 and higher by thermal fields at automatic argon-arc welding, using computer simulation is given.

Donchenko Ye. A. — Chemical inhomogeneity of single-layer surfacing, carried out by application of alloying ceramic flux

The considered features of formation of the chemical heterogeneity of single-layer weldings. It was established a connection between the mode and the chemical composition of the welded joint.

Research results of the welding process of steels with aluminium coat by silicon bronze wire are covered. Effect of welding conditions on the chemical composition of weld metal is established, as well as influence of aluminium and iron content in the weld metal on its mechanical properties.

Poulka Ch. V., Gavrilyuk V. Ya., Senchishin V. S. — Equipment upgrading and technological advancement of induction surfacing

The devices and technology of the induction fusion of thin flat details (including disks) of thickness 3—6 mm using heat and electromagnetic screens, vibration and centrifugal forces of rotation are presented in this article. Their advantages comparing to the existing technologies of fusion without using above listed additional technological operations are shown.

Isayev A. P., Terekhov A. A. — Mechanical properties of galvanized TRIP-steel joints at resistance welding

The paper deals with improving the quality of welded joints of TRIP-steel using resistance spot welding. It is given special consideration to the application of second pulse current and its parameters. On the ground of the results it is shown appropriateness of the application of second pulse current for the increasing plasticity of spot welds.

Volkov S. S. — Effect of grooving on plastic materials weldability at ultrasonic welding 38Tsyss D. G., Shulepov A. V. — Thin polymer films welding process (splicing) on the base of control measuring information system

Presented kinetic mechanism of welded joints with the "primary introduction" and "primary fusion" with the ultrasonic welding of plastics. It is shown that the cutting edge welded by ultrasonic welding of rigid plastics leads to the acceleration of the process of welding.

Tsyss D. G., Shulepov A. V. — Thin polymer films welding process (splicing) on the base of control measuring information system

Obtainment of qualitative seams when welding (splicing) thin polymer films is considered. Influence of the available tool on the process results is estimated and guidance on tool characteristic updating, welding (splicing) process control modes to improve obtained seams are offered. A mathematical model of heating process and its heat lag is rated, and on the base of the findings a PID controller is offered.
