Vector models of the meshing and multiedge machining flow diagrams are developed. On the basis of vector analysis geometric and kinematic transmission ratios characterizing meshing flow chart, processing method, i.e. turning or milling, and cutting type — down and up cut — are suggested.

Shaping charts for the areas of the cut-off layers at holemaking by double- and multi-cutting drill are covered. Their transverse stability is investigated. Origin of the toll’s radial vibrations is shown up.

A grinding wheel processing performance certificate is suggested as a wheel operating capacity description, allowing for making the best use of its working capacity resources under changing process conditions. The certificate takes into account such grinding features as nonstationarity, stochasticity, as well as vibratory nature of the grinding force.

2-D image in-glass technology by radiation is developed, an image consisting of separate volumetric micro-fractures. It is show that the technology ensures obtaining fissured micro-fractures of 50—300 micrometers depending on the required fractures and image brightness.
