Tokmin A. M., Svechnikova L. A., Masansky O. A. — Characteristic interrelation between inductive surfacing and pad structure and properties

Analyzed the processes occurring during melting and crystallization of the deposited powder sormayta, factors influencing the formation of physical and mechanical properties of the product as well as an attempt to formalize the functional relationships using regression analysis. Conducted metallographic studies and power dispersive analysis of the transition zone and deposited layer. Establish a pattern of change of wear on the rate of deposition, as well as hardness and thickness of the deposited layer. It is shown that for high wear resistance of deposited layers is necessary to use a multilayer deposition.

Poletika I. M., Makarov S. A., Krylova T. A., Golkovsky M. G. — The Cr—C—B-system usage for metal alloying at extra vacuum electron-beam surfacing

Wear and corrosion resistant coatings are obtained by electron-beam surfacing using electron accelerator of boron carbide and chromium carbide powder compositions in different weight relations and at radiation parameter variation. It is shown that surfacing compositions and conditions of electron-beam action exist which ensure maximal values of wear and corrosion resistance.

PRODUCTION SECTION

Lebedev V. A., Maximov S. Yu., Pichak V. G., Rymsha V. V., Radimov I. N., Gulyi M. V. — New electrode and doped wire feeder

A new type of electrode wire gearless feeder for arc welding and surfacing machine-operated equipment is considered. The mechanism is based on the usage of a valve electric drive construction specially designed welding equipment. Major operation algorithms of pulsed feed realization and installation methods corresponding to parameter algorithms are given.

Technical data, major functions and ranges of application of new single-phase welding set Forsage 161 for manual arc welding by covered electrodes as of 1,6—4,0 mm in diameter are described.
Key words: manual arc welding, inverter welding machine, output current, volt-ampere

Potapov N. N., Kadigrobov I. A., Pen’kov V. B. — Gas saturation of the added metal at welding by basic-covered electrodes

It is shown that it is possible to improve significantly physical-and-chemical air protection of the added metal at welding by basic-covered electrodes by introducing thermally less stable fluorides into the coating composition in addition to CaF2. Their quantity optimization is determined not only by metallurgical but also by welding processing properties of electrodes.

Sidorov V. P., Melzitdinova A. V., Reznikova I. V. — Spot diameter calculation to set contact welding conditions

Analysis of GOSTs and MIS-data by approximation allowed obtaining dependencies determining minimal diameter and spot nuclear area of section for every thickness of the welded elements. It is established that section fracture stress depend insignificantly on the thickness of welded elements.
Key words: resistance-spot welding, GOST, MIS, welding spot area of section, nuclear diameter, approximation, fracture stress, thickness of welded elements

Volkov S. S. — Brush componentry ultrasonic welding schedule

It is established that welding rate of brush-type elements increases when critical parameters of the welding conditions are increasing. Double-faced ultrasonic weld with seam melt formation into profile thickening fit for the brush holder groove is suggested. It is shown that fibre tear-out force out of the brush is higher at the double-faced brush welding than that at the single-faced one. This indicates that brush double-faced welding results show great stability.
