Workability of press forming by rolling tool (also called as forming by running-in) illustrated by an example of high-strength aluminium alloys in the field of deformative processing is considered. The practice of forming by running-in allows obtaining in-process stock with a complex of high mechanical properties, with isotropic structure and in a wide assortment range of manufacture of various shapes.

Research results of chip wrapping mechanism at metal cutting are covered. It is established that chip wrapping radius depends on the height and foot of the dead zone. Mathematical model of stringy chips external radius formation may be used in a reverse order — dimension dead zone while cutting by measured chip geometrics.

Tignibidin A. V. — Higher precision and performance rate on cylindrical grinding machines in tool production

The main scientific and technical novelty principles of construction devices developed by the authors is that in grinding the measuring converter device is established directly on a controlled and processed detail and in its case the microdrive gear (piezo drive, the electric drive or another) for conveyance of a measuring rod under the set program is settled down. It allows to bring almost to naught a difference of instrument readings at static and dynamic measurements of geometrical parameters of details with smooth and faltering surfaces.

Nayzabekov A. B., Andreyaschenko V. A. — Investigation of external factors influence at angular pressing

Research results of the external factors effect on the deformation process are covered. Tool temperature influence on the behaviour of stress state and needed force as a result of tool warm-up are analyzed. Passage geometry influence is revealed, as well as change of the blank initial cross-section on the deformative process. The most rational conditions for conducting angular pressing are determined.

Fiodorov Yu. N., Artamonov V. D., Kondrashov V. A. — Milling machine tool retrofit for effective cylindrical gear tooth-cutting

Possibility of retrofitted milling machines application for efficient cylindrical gear cutting by cutter heads and practical implementation of their retrofitting is analyzed. An electromagnetic unit usage utility for error compensation by the cut gear pitch is established. A new model for pitch error reduction of the cut toothing using improved rolling-dividing mechanism is offered.

Shvetsov O. V., Kondratyev S. Yu. — Influence of interlock shrunk-on joints on the metal structure and properties of the drill pipes from aluminium alloys Д16Т and 1953Т1

It is established that the alloy Д16Т is considerably more resistant to process heat and after drill pipe manufacture has higher strength and plasticity reserves as compared to the alloy 1953Т1. Practical guidance for conducting operations of interlock shrunk-on joints of the aluminium drill pipes, providing their higher working capacity are formulated.

Elkin S. Yu., Safonov V. V., Polupanov I. T. — Working the process of strengthening spring teeth of hay-making machines.

Theoretical and experimental investigation results of a new restoration technique of hay-making machines spring teeth are considered by an example of geometrically-complex teeth of the self-dump rake ГП-14 (GP-14). Functional dependences of efficient renewal conditions’ influence on the spring teeth characteristic are revealed and advisable teeth restoration conditions by electromechanical treatment are determined.

Negrov D. A., Yeriomin Ye. N., Miroshnichenko O. M. — Ultrasonic instrument development for manufacturing produce from polymeric composite materials

Research results of the ultrasonic instrument form effect on the frequency stability index of the resonant mode at polymeric composite materials presswork are covered. Combination ultrasonic tool is developed which 4 times increases frequency stability of the wave propagation system, provides effective and steady operation of the ultrasonic device as a whole and makes composite ultimate strength 10 per cent higher.

Semionov M. Yu., Ryzhova M. Yu. — Highly loaded toothed gears scoring process study on the base of energy model

In order to estimate resistance of the materials of highly loaded toothed gears to scoring an energy calculation model is developed, which takes into consideration influence of metal hardness and modulus of elongation depending on temperature in gearing. Application of the worked-out energy approach to scoring resistance determination of the gear surface layers hardened by thermochemical treatment is substantiated.
