Steklov O. I., Sorokin V. N., Antonov A. A., Golikov V. V. — Process-specialized caisson restoration deposit welding techniques for underwater pipeline junctions repair

Assessment results f a possibility to clear surface extensive corrosion damages by caisson repair surfacing on pipes after continuous service are covered.
Key words: corrosion damages, hyperbaric surfacing, strain ageing, short arc, residual stress and displacement

Bushma V. O. — Physical processes modelling at stationary consumable electrode welding

Model of physical phenomena taking place at narrow-gap welding is considered. It is shown that when modelling physical phenomena of an electrode the main process determining electrode heating and its melting pattern is the welding current behaviour in the electrode. Processing methods are offered which allow to obtain qualitative welds at stationary consumable electrode welding.
Key words: stationary consumable electrode welding, mathematical model, melting front, relative penetration, maximum heating area, terminal speed of welding

Antonov A. A. — Welded joints deflected mode on-line investigation of the objects of the oil-and-gas complex

Research results of the welded joints’ deflected mode in the objects of the oil-and-gas complex using field laser-interferometer equipment DON.
Key words: mode of deformation, residual stress, blind holes drilling method, speckle interferometer

Lukin V. I., Kovalchuk V. G., Samorukov M. L., Gridnev Yu. M., Zheguina I. P., Ko-telnikova L. V. — Features of the friction welding practices of the joints from the BKHA-25 и ЭП975 alloys

Friction welding procedure of the BKHA-25 and ЭП975 alloys and heat treatment sequence (before and after welding) are considered. Welding conditions are chosen and effect of heat treatment on the welds’ quality is investigated. Mechanical test, metallographic and fractographic investigation of the welding joints are carried out. Efficiency of the welding conditions and heat treatment is determined.
Key words: friction welding, high-temperature alloys, heat treatment, welded joints

PRODUCTION SECTION

Sas A. V., Krivin V. V., Tyamalov I. O., Rudenko V. A. — Control of the electrode metal transfer

Identification problems of the electrode metal transfer are considered. Identification method by the instantaneous value of the arc conductance and its comparison with the instantaneous value is suggested. The method allowed to increase drop transfer frequency and to reduce splashing.
Key words: identification, control, mathematical model, arc conductivity, electrode melting, drop transfer

Makarov G.I. — Standard requirements for the pipe steel fracture toughness

Requirements for the pipe steels and pipe welded joints of new generation with improved operational characteristics are considered. The requirements are worked out by the VNIIST and provide for regulation of the far greater quantity of the operating characteristics, establishing supplementary claim for geometry, microstructure, fracture toughness, plasticity, hardness, etc.
Key words: requirements, fracture toughness, pipe steels, gas-main pipeline

Steklov O. I. — Gas-main pipeline reliability under conditions of corrosion and ageing processes intensification

Gas-main pipeline reliability control problem under conditions of corrosion and ageing processes intensification is considered. Along with failure, mainly caused by stress corrosion cracking, there increases hazard of failure, conditioned by degraded processes in pipe metal at the continuous service. Problem-solving ways are shown.
Key words: gas-main pipeline, corrosion, corrosion cracking, ageing, degraded processes, monitoring, welding and related technology, intratubal diagnostics

Abramenko D. N., Yakovleva O. C., Pavlov N. V., Bakayeva R. D. — Effect of the structural phase composition of the complex-alloy deposited metal on the tribotech-nical characteristics or the rolling stock parts

Tribotechnical properties’ research results of the complex-alloy deposited metal with regard to repair procedure of the rolling stock components by deposit welding aimed at increasing the overhaul life are covered. Structural composition of the ferrite needle-shaped deposited metal is determined.
Key words: needle-shaped ferrite, structure formation, metallurgical study, wear resistance, mechanical properties, cold-short cracking resistance, deposit welding, flux cored wire
