Study results of the diesel engine cylinder internal structure through the use of computing X-ray tomograph are adduced. Reason of the possible cylinder jam is substantiated and the basic way for its elimination through the use of tomography during manufacturing technology work through by using a tomography are stated.

Rogov V. A., Gorbani S. — Use of Taguchi method for vibration and machined surface roughness optimization when machining

This article aims at optimizing cutting conditions in order to reduce the surface roughness (Ra) and vibration during turning of aluminum alloy AA2024. Machining process wos performed at lathe 16K20VF1 model, using standard cutting tool and cutting tool filled up with epoxy granite in toolholder made of hardened steel AIS1 5140. Spindle speed, feed rate, depth of cut and tool overhang werechosen as variable parameters. Turning operation and optimization ofsurface roughness and vibration were performed using Taguchi method L9 orthogonal array. Optimum cutting conditions and the influence of each parameter on the surface roughness and vibration were defined using the signal/noise ratio and analysis of variance. Spindle speed and tool overhang have the greatest influence on the surface roughness and vibration, respectively for both cutting tools. However, the optimum cutting conditions were determined in different levels. In addition, confirmation experiments were performed in order to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of Taguchimethod in optimizing cutting conditions.

The main base detail of metalloobrabatykvayushchy machines is the bearing knot — a bed on which mount all mechanisms and assembly units. Concerning a bed mobile mechanisms of the machine and obrabatykvayemy preparations on it are coordinated and move. From a design, accuracy of manufacturing and repair of a bed, a form and the sizes directing, properties материалов of which they are made, and some other factors operational characteristics of the machine depend. Throughout all guaranteed service life of the last the bed should correctness relative a raspolozhekniya of the details mounted on it and knots. Article is devoted to consideration of questions of restoration of the main bearing knots of processing equipment.

The expediency of the mold-welded construction creation to minimize deformation of the bowl body is substantiated. The use of rigidity ribs, fixed by welding, permit to reduce the formation of residual deformation, to increase the reliability and service life of the blast furnace slag-cart.

Kharseev V. E., Petrov P. A., Sidorov A. A. — The research of the method for the metal plasticity determining by radial extrusion in a particular form channel

The method for determining the metal plasticity by radial extrusion in the certain form channel is considered. In the first part of the article the change range boundary of the strained state indicator at radial extrusion are defined from a study of the channel shape analytical equations ensuring constancy of the strained state indicator in the deformation process. In the second part of the article analytical decision is checked, as an example of the samples deformation from the aluminum alloy D16 by using a computer simulation program DEFORM.

Dmitriev S. F., Malikov V. N., Sagalakov A. M., Shevtsova L. I. — Defectoscopy of titanium alloys welded joints by eddy currents

The sensor, which allows to investigate welding connected titanium plates is worked out from an vortex-current transducer (VCT.) of the transformer type. The basic technical information about the utilized VCT. is carried out. The measurement methodology that allows to control defects in the titanium alloys welding joints is described. Experimental results obtained by using the vortex-current transducer on two titanium plates connected by welding. The penetration depth estimation of the vortical currents field in the studied object is carried out The dependences demonstrating the value of VCT response at different depth of the defect locations. These dependences allow to estimate the welding joint quality and to answer the question about the welding reliability.

The new regulatory documents for welding are developed. SRT 2245213.9-001—2014 "Welding of vessels, apparatus and pipelines from duplex steels"; SRT 22452139-002—2014 "Application of shielding atmosphere for welding of vessels, apparatus and pipelines controlled by Rostekhnadzor"; SRT 22452139-003—2014 "Welding of vessels, apparatus and piping from imported alloys — Hastelloy, Incoloy, Inconel and other nickel-based alloys"; SRT 22452139-004—2014 "Analogues catalogue of imported and domestic bsaic and welding materials used in the manufacture of vessels, apparatus and pipelines from non-ferrous metals and alloys; controiled by Rostekhnadzor".
In the documents the international standards requirements аre taken into account and production experiences of the equipment manufacturing in domestic enterprises is summarized. Conclusions TС 364 "Welding and allied processes" (Federal Agency on Technical Regulation and Metrology) and Certificate about standards registration for all documents are received.
