Praliev D. A., Khodakov D. V., Khodakov V. D., Gutorov D. A., Peremyslov I. V. — Development of technology for welding small diameter pipelines from 08H18N10T steel for atomic energy equipment by using the "AUTO-PRESSING" method

The question of stainless steel argon arc welding without filler wire in order to receive high-quality full penetration and welding joint reinforcement — the "auto-pressing" method is considered. The "auto-pressing" welding variants of thin-walled pipelines from steel 08Х18N10Т are described. The analysis of welding modes is carried out. The data of mechanical properties and metallographic studies of the obtained welded joints are given.
Key words: argon arc welding, auto pressing, full penetration, sequential penetration, linear expansion

Shchetinin S. V., Shchetinina V. I., Fedun V. I. — Regulation of the welding current magnetic field during electric arc welding of pipes

Mathematical models of magnetic field induction at welding plates and pipes are obtained.
The influence of the product shape on induction is established by experiment-calculated way. Magnetic blast during pipe welding increases by more than 10 times due to the concentration of magnetic field lines in a ferromagnetic pipe with high magnetic permeability, the increase in induction by π (3.14) times, the electromagnetic force, acting on an arc and magnetic pressure. A method of one-sided high-speed welding of pipes is developed. In such a case, by passing a current opposite to the welding current inside a ferromagnetic pipe, the magnetic blast is prevented, the process stability is enhanced, upward electromagnetic force and magnetic pressure are created that keep the liquid metal from flowing out of the bath. It ensures the formation of quality seams on a flux cushion and an increase in the impact strength of welded joints by 2—2.5 times.

Dorokhov А. S., Aulov V. F., Ishkov А. V., Krivochurov N. Т., Ivanayskiy V. V. — Investigation of the welding joints properties made by electrodes with coating comprising a boron compound

The authors studied the effect of boron additives in the coating of electrodes. It is shown that the additions of boron promotes the formation of new solid, highly disperse and structured phases in the seam which, under certain conditions of their formation and isolation, influence the structure of the steel, carry out dispersed or zone hardening, and inhibit the development of cold cracks. The performed work makes it possible to quantitatively and qualitatively characterize the effect of boron on the structure of the welded seam, to expand the field of application of electrodes with a coating comprising boron.
Key words: boron, borating, structure, welded seam

Antsiborov A. N., Klimov А. S., Klimov V. S., Kydinov А. K. — Monitoring the state of the secondary circuits of contact machines in conditions of mass production

A measuring method the active resistance of the secondary contours of multi-electrode resistance welding machines working in mass production is proposed and tested, which makes it possible to track the need to replace their elements. The method provides the periodic switching on the machine in the short circuit mode, the measurement of electrical parameters and the calculation by approximating the dependence of the active resistance of the secondary circuit. The need to replace the elements of the secondary circuit is established by a sharp increase in the rate of change (in time) of active resistance.

PRODUCTION SECTION

Ammosov А. P., Antonov А. А., Soldatov K. V., Yakovlev Yu. А. — The technology of welding pipe canals UCMOP across the Lena River

The technology of assembly welding of non-rotary joints of pipes lashes duker of an underwater crossing of the main oil pipeline (UCMOP) through the r. Lena is considered.
Longitudinal and transverse shrinkage, softening of the ЗТV metal during multipass welding on the hot pass, distribution of residual welding stresses (RWS) in the welded joint is established. Tp and assembly welding modes of pipe canal joints enabling to optimal ratios in structure, hardness, and shrinkage are recommended.

Lyushinskiy А. V., Roshan N. P., Chistov Е. М., Fedorova Е. S. — Contact welding of palladium foil with stainless steel

The features of the welded joint formation of palladium foil with stainless steel by using nickel foil as an intermediate layer at resistance welding are considered. It is shown that through the choice the optimal welding parameters, it is possible to obtain the equal strength connection of the specified materials, while the core of the welding point will be shifted to a thicker part.

Barabanova О. А., Polunin V. А., Salmin P. А. — Diffusion welding: Quality control

Quality control is one of the main functions in the quality management process (for J. Juran, quality control was and remained the central process in the organization). The value of control lies in the fact that it allows detecting errors in time, so that subsequently to correct their quickly with minimal losses. When choosing control methods and means of joints made by diffusion welding, it is necessary to have a clear idea of the nature of the defects and the reasons for their occurrence. In this article the classification of defects formed during diffusion welding, the causes of their occurrence and the control methods are presented.
