Sarayev Yu. N., Selivanov Yu. V. — Optimization of the pulse-arc corrosion-resistant surfacing conditions

Coating deposition modes and techniques on the surface of by manual arc facing under conditions of the process pulsed variation of power data on the surface of parent metal and welded joints from the austenitic steels are developed.

Parshin S. G., Parshin S. S., Buerckner G., Semmler W., Coush M., Reinhart S., Coon S. — Intensification of the welding wire fusion at MIG/MAG-welding of steels and aluminium alloys

Dripping transition and welding arc stability advantageous control mode at MIG/MAG welding is offered. The idea is that surface energy state of the welding materials is changing due to deposition of superdispersed and nanodispersed powders of the activating fluxes.
Key words: dripping, transition, electrode metal, flux, activated wire

Donchenko Ye. A. — Peak temperature calculation at machine welding and overlaying

A possibility of correcting N. N. Rykalin known equation to calculate spot peak temperature in the welding area is shown. It is suggested to take into account factors related to metal fusion: latent heat of fusion and overheating degree. A possibility experimental estimate of thermal efficiency values application in calculations for a point source at machine welding where heat source is distributed is carried out.
Key words: peak temperature, fusion heat, overheating degree, coefficient of thermal efficiency

Nikitin V. M., Reznichenko B. M. — Study of the weld metal electrochemical inhomo-geneity

Research results of welding schedule and thermal treatment effect on the welded joints’ corrosive characteristics are given. The welded joints’ corrosion resistance was estimated by applying chemical topography method which allows for determining electrochemical potential of different welding zones.
Key words: corrosion, electrochemical potential, corrosion stability, heat treatment

Khorev A. I. — Complex alloyage and microalloying of the titanium alloys

Theoretical and practical aspects of the titanium alloys complex alloying and microalloying are considered. Complex alloyage first principles are formulated. A series of complex-alloyed titanium alloys ВТ23, ВТ23Л, ВТ23К, ВТ23m, ВТ43 et al is developed.
Key words: titanium alloy, macro- and microalloying, mechanical properties

Gloushko S. P., Popravka D. L., Abramov N. S. — Heat process modelling of the bush inner surface axifugal bi-metallization

One of the possible processes to obtain bimetallic components of the axisymmetric body form is arc-heating centrifugal method. At obtaining bimetals using this process it is necessary to control temperature on the melt-base boundary. Dependence is established between the temperature on the work surface and on the melt-base interaction surface which may be controlled by pyrometer.
Key words: bimetallic elements, heat processes, mathematical model

PRODUCTION SECTION

llyaschenko D. P., Zernin Ye. A. — Metal spraying loss determination when using different power sources

Reseach results of the power source dynamic behavior effect on the electrode metal loss at covered-electrode hand arc welding (welding current is 80—120 A) are covered. Splashing reduction method by protective coating application is considered.
Key words: manual arc welding, electrode, electrode metal, coating

Isakayev E. Kh., Gusev V. M., Mordynsky V. B. — Service life increasing of the oil-field equipment components by gas-thermal surfacing

Technological innovation of guide apparatus component restoration using the method of arc spraying by the 12Х13 + 08Г2С pseudoalloy is given. A submersible pump component restoration and hardening installation is designed and implemented, it includes component surface vapour blasting unit, electroarc metallizator EM-12 (ЭМ-12) and partially automated feed system for component transfer and pivoting at processing. Bench test results of the remanufactured parts showed that their wear resistance is more than twice higher.
Key words: coating, wear resistance, gas-flame, plasma spraying, arc spraying

Antipovsky S. V., Tyuftyayev A. S. — Plasma hardening practice of the wheelset flanges

Plasma surface strengthening plant and processing of the rail rolling stock wheel pairs are described. Follow-on starting from the equipment design up to hardened whell pairs’ acceptance, accurate adherence of the process-dependent parameters at plasma treatment and automated control ensure hardened surface structure and properties stability, as the final result it guarantees rosd safety.
Key words: plasma hardening, wear resistance, wheelset, monitoring

Leboshkin B. M., Obukhov G. V., Farkhootdinnova Yu. G., Zhilsanova G. P., Gor-din S. O., Shadrin V. N. — New paints development to mark welding electrodes

Formulation of thermo paint intended for welding electrodes marking has been developed and successfuly tested. The paont has high adhesion propreties, vivid colour, and stability against temperature up to 400 °C; it is simple in preparation and does not require considerable spending.
Key words: arc welding, welding materials, electrodes, paint, marking
