The described analytical solutions of the problem of heat conductivity when heating thing plates by movable axisymmetric heat source with different radial distributions allow for quick calculation of temperature field data.

Boiko I. A., Grin A. G. — Effect of the flux cored wire surface condition on the stability of the arc process

The paper deals with the influence of surface roughness of flux-cored wire for technological characteristics. The analysis of the surface of the self-shielded flux-cored wires for surfacing press machine of hot pressing. It was found that as the roughness of cored wire, in the case of making it a shell of steel 65, reduced voltage ripple on the arc welding current, expanding the working range of modes, increased wear time between the current supply terminals.

Sidyakin V. A., Lyuks D. I. — Butt-seam pipe-welding by low pressure arc in a transverse magnetic field

In order to enlarge a diameter of tubular billets welded by the welding set "Styk-3", butt-seam welding practice by low pressure arc was updated by overlapping transverse magnetic field onto the arc in the gap between two butts. Application of magnetic field significantly improved heating uniformity of the end surfaces thanks to superposition on the chaotic walk of cathode spots their rotation along the tube ends. The authors studied low pressure arc features in transverse magnetic field and identified best value of magnetic induction. Neodymium disk-shaped constant magnets with axial magnetization were used to generate transverse magnetic field. Range diameters of the tubular billets to be welded by the welding set "Styk-3", has been extended up to 70 mm.

Kuryntsev S. V. — Investigation of microstructure and mechanical properties of the welded joints obtained by tongs laser welding

The mechanism of the formation of the weld tick-borne laser welding of heterogeneous and homogeneous metals, metallurgical studies conducted and the mechanical testing of welded joints, described the features of the properties of the weld zone and the base metal of the work pieces.

Bodrikov I. V., Guerasimov Ye. A., Kurnikov N. A. — Influence of lithium compounds on flux functional characteristics for aluminium soldering

The article covers research results of the effect of lithium compounds addition (LiNO3, LiCl, LiBr, LiF) in eutectic KF—AlF3 on the spreading of solder, strength and microstructure of the soldered joints. Dependences of the spreading area of the solder on the compounds of the test joints are given, as well as microstructures, mechanical test data of the soldered joints.

Komarov M. A., Guitarsky L. S. — Welding of beryllium

The article covers weldability research results of commercial beryllium. It describes typical weld defects, analyzes interrelation between impurity content and liability to longitudinal and cross crack formation. Basic requirements to welding conditions and impurity content when producing hermetically sealed weld assembly are considered. Availability of qualitative beryllium welded joints using adding material from aluminium alloys has been substantiates and confirmed. It was established that beryllium welded joints, carried out without use of adding material, had very low plasticity when strength was about 50 per cent of the base metal strength. The strength of the beryllium welded joints with aluminium adding materials makes 70 per cent of the parent metal and it shows high plasticity.

The stages of work to improve the durability and the life of the aircraft technique are described. Distinctive features of adhesive prepregs are listed and the results of their application are described, the results of studies of a new class of alumopolymer layered materials brands SIAL — hybrid material based on thin sheets of aluminium structural alloys and plastic based on adhesive prepregs obtained by a malt-type adhesive bonding and fiberglass with different reinforcement structure — are described.
