Considerable change of the liquid glass processing characteristics is established as a result of its electrotreatment in a special electrolyser, which favours higher uniformity of the moulding sand mixing and improvement of technological properties of the moulded blank parts and fired products.

Ivanov V. S., Utenkov V. M., Ivanov D. V. — Symmetry properties at components’ cycloidal generation of geometry on bi-rotor metal-cutting machines

Shaping kinematic structure on bi-rotor machines is considered and standard parts obtained by multiedge cutter at tangential turning and milling are given. Symmetry properties of the shape-generating cycloidal paths for single-cutters and multiedge generation of geometry are determined.

Koroliov A. V., Koroliov A. A., Tyurin A. N. — Interrelation between cutting energy and surface roughness at super-finishing by abrasive tool

Interdependence between obtained roughness of the processing surface and cutting energy under superfinishing is covered. It is shown that cutting energy is an overall index of the process.

Starshev D. V. — Component’s surface layer strengthening at grinding

It is shown that grinding is attended by plastic forming of the surface layers influencing on the component performance criteria. Research result of the spinning and scraping grains’ work in the process of cutting are given. Optimal cutting speed dependence on the required strengthening of the part surface layer is established. Equations to determine characteristic of the plastically deformed layer are given as well as of plastic strain and stress after grinding taking into consideration thermal processes arising in the surface layer of the blank.

Guzeyev V. I., Pimenov D. Yu. — Stressed state nonstationarity specified by shearing strain on the back of a mill tooth

The given paper contains the calculated simulation model developed for the formation of spatial tension on an edge mill flank surface with the use of plasticity theory referring to contact body interaction. The milling process was the use of the simulation model, which allowed obtaining the variation of tension on the edge mill flank surface caused by strains area in the shear in the process of the tool move.

Process technology and equipment for the titanium nitride and carbonitride plasma vacuum deposition onto fast-cutting steel P6M5 (R6M5) and hard alloys ÂÊ6, ÂÊ8 (VK6, VK8) are considered. It is established that under operating conditions based on prior information cutter power increases 1,5–1,7 times and it is 2,5–2,7 as much after model-based optimization.

Pervookhina O. L., Saykov I. V., Pervookhin L. B., Chayadarov F. B. — Deformative and thermodynamic processes at clad titanium explosion welding of cylinders

Titanium deformation structural features at high speed swaging of a titanium tube are considered. Thermodynamic conditions of titanium explosion welding are covered. It is shown that in order to obtain cylinder qualitative cladding by titanium it is necessary to eliminate conditions for localization occurrence of the heat-related changes and for titanium transition into plastic state at conducting the process in the shielding gas. Lengthy current conductors from copper + titanium over 30 diameters long are obtained.

Sitnikov A. A., Alexeyev N. S., Boyko Ye. A. — Abrasive material assessment of wear life and adhesion activity

The testing results of wear — proofing some abrasive grains from electric corundum and silicon carbides during microcutting of plasma powdery surface and hardened steel 45 are published in this article. As a result of given research the most wear — proofing abrasives during microcutting of specified materials are shown. Electronic-microscopic and micro-X-rayspectral research of working surfaces of isolated grains allowed to reveal physicochemical processes in contact with abrasive metals, and also to establish adhesive activity of abrasive materials in attitude to plasma surface.

Kosarevsky S. V., Latypov V. N. — Thread identification by means of Haph transform by 2D shapes obtained by biaxial measuring equipment

In this paper a new method is proposed for thread parameters recognition from 2D images acquired from profile measuring machines via Hough transformation. The described method can by used to automate many operations during thread measurement, drastically reduce operator’s influence on the measurement process resulting in reduces measurement time and increased repeatability.

Demidov V. V., Demidova Ye.V. — Process simulation model of the cylindrical gears’ and corrected gear-shaper cutters’gear-milling by hobs

A methodology of simulation model construction for the spur gear milling and corrected shaping cutters by hobs and basic mathematical dependences used for the model adequate functioning are given. An algorithm and hob milling process 3D simulation programme allowing for high precision determination of the gear ring controllable key parameters of a processed gear wheel or a shaping cutter are designed.
