Razmyshlyayev A. D., Mironova M. V. — Parent material penetration efficiency at flux wire arc surfacing

With regard to flux wire surfacing it is shown that experimental values of the coefficient of thermal efficiency of the parent material penetration at small values of current and surfacing rate are approximately twice less than theoretical ones. Application of correction to the known Rykalin method allows by calculation showing error not higher than 10 per cent to determine area of the parent material penetration zone at flux arc surfacing: facing current range is 400—1000 A and facing rate is 5—40 mph.

The article covers solution of the fundamental problem of improving material strength properties and running ability of the products subject to heavy wear. Strengthening is achieved by directed modifying influence of the dispersed refractory compounds on the surfacing process, structure, physical-mechanical and service properties of the coats from metals and alloys. Analysis results of the modifying influence of the introduced into melt dispersed refractory compounds additions obtained by different methods on coating crystallization, structure and physical-mechanical properties are given.

Tsumarev Yu. A. — Bearing capacity of the butt-type composite soldered joints

On-load operation features of the butt-type composite soldered joints are considered. It is shown that in order to increase their bearing capacity the number of steps in the junction should be scale up. It is established that soldered seam thicknesses at the butt and lap parts of the joints are important design parameters, on which working capacity of the step joining depends. The greater is the number of steps the less is soldered seam inherent strength effect on the bearing capacity limit of the butt joint.

Fainberg L. I. — Thermal cycle reproduction of the large-diameter pipe welding

Some methodological reasons leading to seam thermal cycles’ differences are studied. Welding is carried out on gas pipes of large diameter and on laboratory patterns of limited width.

Lebedev V. A., Tischenko V. A. — Punching tools rework engineering resources by machine arc surfacing

Problems of technology selection and equipment creation at reconditioning and repair surfacing of the punching tools mold in order to raise tool resistance characteristic minimize power and resource inputs are considered. Off-the-shelf design usage of the ПШ107В-tуре deposition semiautomatic devices and of programmable mobility of a semiautomatic machine support using NC-controlled machine units are grounded and offered. A method of self-clinching flux cored electrode wire with modulation characteristic regulation is applied.
