Features of small-sized ingots casting practice in the water-cooled mold of special construction are considered, as well as of strain processing of the conductor heat resistant alloy (Al—ÐÇÌ, Al—Fe, Al—Fe—Ni). Results of the theoretical and experimental investigation confirmed that alloys of the systems Al—Ni and Al—Fe—Ni are quite prospective.

The article covers development of scientific foundations of formation coating modified by refractory compound and high-energy action. Sub micro- and nanocrystalline particles are used as such compound. High-energy action is conducted by laser or electroarc method. Prospective technological decisions are analysed, and ways of the assigned tasks solution are outlined.

Kouznechik O. O., Stefanovich A. A., Minko D. V., Sarayev Yu. N. — Air-pulsed otreatment of alloy steel borated surface

Functional scheme is considered and characteristic of a pulse-plasma installation generating air-pulse plasma under conditions of atmospheric pressure are given. A possibility of needle-shaped borides comminuting by this plasma in the borated layer of steel surface is shown. It is established that air-pulse treatment by the pulse-plasma installation may favour higher microhardness of the alloyed steel borated surface from 13,7—14,3 to 15,9—16,8 GPa, as well as microhardness of boride-related metal matrix from 1,93—2,13 to 4,9—5,3 GPa.

A technique of obtaining orifices in the flange skirt (GOST 12820—80, 12821—80) by drilling and milling cutters for hole calibration made by using in-process gage which allows machining tool geometry checking is considered.

It is suggested making a decision on choice of a supplier of materials and components on the basis of inspection results of production activities by the customer representatives. Lack of valid quality management system based on the requirements of the standard ISO 9001 necessitates using additional criteria and certificate of audit. Auditing demands confirmation of the enterprise production capability, documentation control, engineering processes and measuring means, evaluation of the technical control adequacy and enables decrease of risk of undue products receive from this supplier.
