STRUCTURAL MATERIALS, METAL SCIENCE

Gnyusov S. F., Makov D. A. — Structure-phase composition and abrasive wear resistance of austenitic composition coatings. Part 4

The research demonstrated the effect of heat treatment on the abrasive wear resistance of composition coatings (Fe—20 % Mn—4 % V—4 % Mo) + 15 % WC and (Fe—20 % Ni—4 % V— 4 % Mo) + 15 % WC ADN-deposited. Industrial tests of the developed composition coating showed that coal crusher operating elements with composition coating based on the high-manganese steel have more than 4 times higher wear resistance as compared to the elements coated by T-590 electrodes.

Ryabtsev S. A., Tsvetkov E. V. — Deep grinding of hardware curve-based surfaces by high-porous borazon disks

The article covers the application results high-porous borazon disks for processing convoluted profiled surfaces of parts by multi-axis deep grinding. By an example of groove grinding in the sector of the gas turbine engine nozzle block from high-temperature nickel alloy by a high-porous borazon disk it was shown that machine time to carry out the operation was reduced to 7,2 times as compared to traditional technologies, the number of worked pieces by one disks increased 110 times against processing by an electrocorundum disk, tooling investment was on the average 4 times down.

Kolomeichenko A. V., Logachev V. N., Titov N. V. — Machinery service life increase by micro-arc oxidation

The article describes combined methods of refacing and strengthening work areas of machine components, particularly that of micro-arc oxidation. In order to reduce wear process of the counterpart of a movable joint we retrofitted the strengthening coating by different materials. We present a construction of the device which may be used micro-arc oxidation in running electrolyte. Use of a running circuit for oxidation allows to improve physical-mechanical properties of the strengthening coatings.
