Stepanova K. V., Sleptsov O. I., Everstov М. М., Stepanov V. Е., Argunova А. А. — Microstructural analysis and study of the metal deposit hardness alloyed with rare-earth elements

The article presents the results of chemical analysis, microstructural studies, hardness measurements of the deposited layers obtained by manual arc welding through the use of the welding-depositing materials containing rare-earth and rare elements from the Tomtor field and electrodes covered with UONI 13/55. The positive effect of the modifying additive with REM on the formation of a crushed structure in the zone of the metal deposit and at the fusion boundary is indicated. A slight increase in hardness in the metal deposit alloyed with rare earth metals is detected.

Saraev Yu. N., Bezborodov V. P., Perovskaya M. V., Semenchuk V. M. — Modification of the coatings structure deposited with T-590 and EN-60M electrodes on articles from 09G2S, St.3 and 12Kh18N10T steels, during deposition in the mode of low-frequency modulation of current

The paper studies the influence of the modes of arc welding electrodes T590 and EN-60M on the properties of coatings of unalloyed, low-alloy and alloy steels: St. 3, 09G2S, 12H18N10T. The influence of electric arc influence on the structure, physical, mechanical and operational properties of coatings deposited with T590 and EN-60M electrodes was studied.
It is established that this modification allows to increase the uniformity of the structure of the deposited coatings, to grind it, to increase the hardness and corrosion resistance.
It was found that the application of the method of pulsed arc welding allows to keep the previously formed strengthening phases in the coatings deposited by the electrodes T-590 and EN-60M.

Karkhin V. A., Artinov А. E. — Comparison of the size of the long weld crater and weld pool in the solution of heat conduction problem

A task analytical solution of heat conduction after the action termination of a moving heat source for various combinations of the source and the welded body is adduced. It is shown that after turning off the source, additional melting of the base metal is possible.
For example, at laser welding with through fusion penetration of a steel plate 2 mm thick, the crater length of the seam can be 19 % longer than the steady-state weld pool length.
It is established that the center of the crater, in which the solidification of the liquid metal completes, is shifted toward the tail end of the crater relative to the axis of the heat source at the time of its termination. The speed and direction of crystallization of the molten bath metal and the crater metal are different.

Kovalchuk V. G., Golev E. V., Khodakova Е. А., Odintsov N. S. — Technological variations for argon arc and electron beam welding of shaped parts from heat resistant nickel alloy

The paper clarifies the influence of TIG and EB welding variants and highly temperature-resistant cast nickel super alloy shaped parts being in a heat-hard enable condition on mechanical properties and structure of welded joints of the combinations casting with casting and casting with deformable semi-finished product. The research trackles the problem of short-term durability ate temperature of 20 °С and long-term durability at a temperature of 650 and 1000 °C. The filler materials for argon-arc welding and relevant modes for electron-beam welding are selected. They provide a high complex of mechanical properties and an appropriate structure of welded joints.

Sidorov S. A., Lyalyakin V. P., Mironov D. A. — The choice of the coating mode by plasma spattering on flat work surfaces

Processes of gas-thermal (plasma, detonation, gas-flame, etc.) deposition of powder coatings are widespread in industry. The article presents the development of a method of preliminary calculation of the modes of deposition of powder coatings on flat work surfaces.
The main determined (selected) parameters are the thickness of the sprayed layer, the speed of the translational motion of the part, the overlap of the applied bands, the deposition time.
The known, used in calculations, technological characteristics of installation and materials are given. A schematic diagram of the deposition of powder coating is presented.
Experimental studies confirmed the high convergence of the calculated parameters (the difference does not exceed 5—7 %).
