Yeltsov V. V., Ditenkov O. A., Zelenkov A. S., Kharitonov P. S. — Investigation of the crater surface shape and thermal cycles at the phase of welding termination

Research results of the effect of current decay curve shape at the moment of welding termination on the crater filling-in thermal cycle and surface shape of shrinkage cavity are covered. Kinematics of the weld pool metal crystallization during weld termination is considered. The most optimal current decay curve shape is shown up aimed at size minimization and shape of shrinkage cavity optimization.

Lenivkin V. A., Parshin S. G. — Influence of the activating electrode composition coatings on the arc properties at CO2-welding

Research results of the processing and physical arc properties at CO2 reversed MAG-welding applying electrode wire with activating microcomposite coatings on the base of copper matrix and halogen-containing salts of alkaline and alkaline-earth metals are given.

llyaschenko D. P., Sapozhkov S. B. — The LB-52U covered-electrode manual arc welding

Research results of the LB-52U covered-electrode manual arc welding using protective coatings are covered. It is established that protective coating application influence neither on the mechanical properties and chemical composition of the welded constructions nor on the distribution of the temperature fields and on the hygiene and sanitary air property of the welder’s working area.

Mikheyev A. A., Zeer G. M., Fomenko O. Yu., Raipold D. S. — Investigation of the bronze БрХ08 and copper Ml diffusive joints' transition zones

Research results of the bronze БpХ08 and copper Ml transition zone through the nickel-phosphorus layer are considered. These results allowed evaluating diffusive joint quality, to obtain dependences of element distribution in the diffusion zone, as well as to calculate copper and nickel interdiffusion coefficient and plot it as a function of concentration.
Key words: diffusive joints, interdiffusion coefficient, microroentgenospectroscopic analysis, microstructure

Durov A. V., Gab 1.1., Stetsyuk T. V. — Application of niobium and niobium-containing alloys to join ceramic materials

Research results of wetting Al2O3, ZrO2, AlN, BK94-2, porcelain by different niobium-containing alloys are described. Ceramics-to-niobium soldering technique is worked out using contact-reactive method through nickel, as well as operating practices to joint ceramics and niobium by pressure welding.
Key words: soldering, wetting, ceramic-and-metal composite joint

Demchenko A. I., Shmarlovsky A. N., Soloviova K. V. — Features of the electrical and thermal fields at the series resistance spot welding

A mathematical model of electrical and heat processes at series resistance spot welding is designed and implemented. Some distribution features of electric and thermal welding fields are established.

Marchenko G. N., Volodin Yu. G., Marfina O. P. — Profile optimization of the orifice axially-symmetric componentry

А turbulent boundary layer mathematical model describing non-stationary nonisothermic flow of non-compressible gas in axially symmetrical heat exchange channels is given. Equations of motion, continuity and energy, trailing relations for the coefficients of friction and of heat transfer at relevant edge conditions allow for analyzing effect of specific influence on the friction and heat transfer processes with further phenomena syntheses, i.e. studying their joint action and establishing correlation between them and then optimize streamline surface profile from a position of minimizing its heat loading and power dissipation.
Key words: mathematical model, nonisothermic flow, gas, shape, contactor tube

PRODUCTION SECTION

Korotkov V. A. — Dip-transfer surfacing is 60

Dip-transfer surfacing process developed in the mid of the XX century is considered, which allowed for restoring machine componentry. The method favoured the stabilization of the arc process and molten pool degassing.
Key words: dip-transfer surfacing, machine components, pulsating current, restoration

Zmiyevsky V. I. — FMEA application to ensure welded constructions quality

Working examples of using FMEA method for quality assurance of the welded constructions are described.

Muraviov 1.1., Grigorash V. V., Bolotov A. V., Guryev S. V. — Low-cost based industrial process of steel ribbed panels, orthotropic plates and T-sections

The orthotropic plates and T-sections present welding practices are analysed taking into consideration all disadvantages. Innovative technology in essence is suggested, which allows more to conduct the welding process more efficiently. Process conditions are described, in-less-detail calculation of orthotropic plates and T-sections manufacturing labour intensity and cost are given.
