Kozin A. E., Frolov A. A., Aleksakhin A. V., Suslin Yu. I., Vinogradov A. N. — Heat treatment of cast side frames of freight car bogies made of 20GFL steel to increase their strength and durability

The paper presents the complex of mechanical properties of cast side frames of freight car bogies made of low-carbon low-alloy 20GFL steel subjected to heat treatment (quenching and tempering) after normalization. The increase in durability of side frames due to the improvement of steel microstructure (tempered sorbite) is substantiated.
Keywords: cast side frame, durability, heat treatment, quenching, self-tempering.

Vilkova E. A., Safonov A. V., Legkova E. A. — Development of conductive ink compositions for flat offset printing

The article investigates the possibility of creating conductive ink compositions for flat offset printing based on single-walled carbon nanotubes. A series of experiments were carried out, and ways to optimize the composition were proposed. The results of the work open up prospects for the use of offset printing in the production of flexible electronics, including sensors and smart packaging.

Mitrofanov A. P., Isaeva A. A., Danilenko M. V., Parsheva K. A., Klochkov I. S. — Influence of minimum quantity lubrication supply conditions on the operational parameters of the nickel alloy grinding process

As an alternative to the use of cutting fluids, the environmentally oriented minimum quantity lubrication technology is being introduced in global practice. However, due to the low cooling capacity of this technology, additional air cooling is increasingly used. The effectiveness of this method directly depends on the rational choice of parameters; accordingly, experimental studies have been carried out for this purpose.
Keywords: minimum quantity lubrication, grinding, mist parameters, cold air, oil supply, air flow rate

The paper considers and tests the technology of ultrasonic treatment of the melt flow during casting of ingots of aluminum alloys of the Al-Mg-Si system, additionally alloyed with Sc and Zr. It is determined that this method makes it possible to obtain a non-dendritic (sub-dendritic) structure in ingots 40 mm in diameter.

Malinov L. S., Malinov V. L., Lavrova E. V., Tsys E. A. — Increasing the wear resistance of spring steel with a graphitized surface by obtaining a multiphase structure with metastable retained austenite

Data are presented on increasing the wear resistance of 60S2A steel by creating a graphitized surface layer and obtaining a multiphase structure with metastable retained austenite undergoing dynamic deformation martensitic transformation (self-quenching effect under loading). This expands the application areas of spring steel.
