The laser welding technology of the pipes from steel ChS-82 for nuclear power plants. It is demonstrated, that the laser welding application has great perspective at covering pipes production, since a focused laser beam high concentration permits to receive welding joints with properties close to those of the basic metal, and the residual strain in 6—10 times lower compared to arc welding. The joints microstructure obtained by laser welding of steel ChS-82 is researched.
It is found that the resistance of welding joints against technologies crack formation increases with welding speed increasing due to the structure refinement of all the constituent phases in the seam metal.

Tretyakov R. S., Ganzales Luis, Shiganov I. N. — Power plants parts restoring by means of laser welding deposit

The laser welding deposit technology of energy facility parts is considered in this article.
A comparison of laser welding deposit with other surface restoration methods such as arc and plasma welding deposit is given. The analysis of powder materials used for welding deposit is carried out. The main purpose area of these materials for growth of the wear resistance, heat resistance, corrosion resistance, and others properties are pointed. The dependence of the weld beads geometry from the basic parameters of laser welding deposit are researched. The composition and the basic elements of laser facility for welding deposit are considered. Examples of the laser welding deposit utilization of details for restoration of the thermal power plants energy facility parts are adduced.
