Ilin A. V., Karpov I. G., Kashchenko D. A., Sobolev А. А. — Evaluation of the effect using possibility of contact strengthening in welded joints of high-strength low-alloy steels

The use of the contact strengthening effect at narrow bevel welding of high-strength steels with less durable welding materials is a promising solution many technological problems. However, the method of quantitatively accounting for this effect at the analysis of the static equal strength of the welded joint remains not developed. In this regard, tests of samples with variable bevel parameters and strength combinations of the base metal and weld metal, as well as numerical studies of the FEM processes of their deformation in a 3d setting are performed. On the basis of the obtained results, interpolation relations, which make it possible to predict the strength of a mechanically inhomogeneous welded joint, are proposed.

Voronin N. N., Voronin N. Nik., Budarina O. N., Zakharenkova L. V. — Possible reason for the initiation of a microdefect on the rolling surface of electric locomotive tires

The article analyzes the processes occurring on the wheel-rail contact surfaces of the electromobil train at the moment of the start of movement, since the wheel remains stationary and the starting current is equal to the maximum value. As an example, the initial moment of turning on the traction electric motor of an electric locomotive with a heavy train is considered, when voltage is supplied to the traction motors, but the starting currents used in the calculation do not even exceed the operating values. It is shown that in the considered wheel-rail contact there are processes similar to the closing of electrical switches, contactors and other connections of electrical conductors, as well as processes occurring in the first moments of resistance welding. The calculation of heating at the surface points of contact between the wheel rim and the rail is carried out. The calculation showed that even without exceeding the operating current values at individual points, metal fusion is possible, leading to formation of microflaws.

Akhunova А. Kh., Dmitriev S. V., Valitov V. A., Galieva E. V. — Finite element modeling of the stress-strain state in specimens from dissimilar Ni-based alloys during pressure welding with displacement

In this paper, the possibility of producing a bimetallic disc-shaft-type part for a gas turbine engine made from dissimilar heat-resistant nickel-based super alloys by means of pressure welding in the presence of shear deformation is considered on the basis of computer simulation. It is shown that the quality of a solid-phase joint of the part depends on the scheme of shaft insertion into the disk, the angle of the shaft taper and the degree of surface treatment.

Sliva A. P., Gudenko A. V., Marchenkov A. Yu., Zhgut D. A., Goryachkina M. V., Dragunov V. K. — Mechanical properties of aluminum alloy AMg6 obtained by wire electron beam additive forming

The article discusses the features of producing articles by the method of electron beam additive forming of alloys based on aluminium. The technology of obtaining a thin wall from a deformable aluminum alloy AMg6 is described and the results of mechanical tests are presented. It is shown that the mechanical properties of the AMg6 alloy obtained by the ELAF method meet the requirements of GOST for various types of semi-finished products.
