Kostin V. A., Grigorenko G. M. — Effect of thermal cycle of welding on microstructure and properties of new structural steels strengthened by carbide and carbonitride

Using a Gleeble 3800 studied the effect of welding thermal cycle on the microstructure and properties of metal HAZ new steels with carbide and carbonitride type hardening — 06ГБД and 15ХСАТЮД. Established that the cause of low plastic and viscous properties of welded joints of steel 15ХСАТЮД associated with the dissolution of carbide and nitride phases (Fe3C, AlN, TiC) at the site of a large grain HAZ.

Gurevich L. M., Trykov Yu. P., Kiselev O. S. — Formation mechanism of structure mechanical inhomogeneity when explosion welding aluminium and titanium

The results of the study of zone of titanium-aluminum composite, welded to the explosion of modes close to the upper boundary of weldability are resulted. Local heterogeneous melts consisting matrix of a solid solution based on aluminum with particles of titanium aluminide. The increase in strain energy led to an increase in area, extent and volume content of aluminide particle. The formation of local melts almost did not reduce their ability to limit deformation.

Vereschago Ye. N., Kostyuchenko V. I. — Physical and mathematical model of plasmatron feed circuit

Results of physical and mathematical model development for the power supply-arc system at plasma-arc cutting are considered. The model takes into consideration arcing process instability at small current (pilot arc), arc attainment of working conditions and nonstationarity, i.e. direct current arc bridging mechanism resulting in changing arc length and large-scale ripple current and voltage.

Khorunov V. F., Voronov V. V., Maximova S. V. — Investigation of the braze from the Ti—Zr—Co system

The structures of alloys of Ti—Zr—Co system in a wide range of concentrations were studied; as well the melting intervals of these alloys were determined. Characteristics brazed joints wetting, spreadability and strength in comparison with results which obtained by well-known filler metals are fixed. The structure and chemical heterogeneity of filler metals and brazed seams are investigated.

Gnyusov S. F., Durakov V. G. — Influence of titanium and tungsten carbides on structure formation and properties of composition coatings. Part 1: Structure-phase composition of coatings steel Р6М5 — (WC + TiC)

Research results of structure-phase composition formation features of steel Р6М5 — (WC + TiC) composition coatings depending on the content of tungsten monocarbide in the source mixture are described. It is established that the amount of the remanent austenite in the composition coating depends on the content of tungsten carbide in total volume of the input strengthening phase. Maximum amount of austenite (75 %) of the total volume of matrix has coatings in which carbide addition makes 20 %.

Tabakin Ye. M., Ivanovich Yu. V., Kaplin A. V. — Application practices of fusion welding when remote manufacture of nuclear reactor core products

This paper presents the results of work on developing techniques for remote-controlled welding of items containing radiation-hazardous products in hot cells and glove boxes. Here is given the description of equipment for remote-controlled laser and TIG welding units. The paper illustrates the use of developed techniques for core component manufacture and examinations of material behavior under different reactor operating conditions.

Isakayev E. Kh., Mordynsky V. B., Tyuftyaev A. S., Ilichev M. V., Katarzhis V. A. — Investigation of percussive plasma-powder surfacing on Hadfield steel

Superposition of the hammering over the plasma-powder coating is the result of further development of the method realized in this project in order to recovery railway frogs. Technological process data are discussed in detail, an influence of the impact energy over properties of layers are studied. The technology is promising for the hardening (recovery) of lengthy pieces due to the elimination of subsequent thermal treatment.

Strakh N. F., Metelitsa S. V. — Refacing of cast-iron parts by the method of wire Св-08Г2С cold surfacing in different shielding gases

Degree of carbon burning in the pad at oxygen surfacing of cast iron is studied, as well as it is compared with low-carbon cold surfacing in widespread shielding gases under various surfacing conditions. It is shown that oxygen surfacing of an interlayer allows obtaining a plastic layer without preheating and using of special materials.
