Bishokov R. V., Gezha V. V., Shatalov A. V. — Agglomerated flux for welding of corrosion-resistant high-strength nitrogen-containing steels

The problems of Russian welding materials for welding high-alloyed austenitic steels that are not inclined to intergranular corrosion are considered. A new agglomerated flux for welding with austenitic welding materials is developed. Slag composition is selected that ensures a stable welding process, good separation of the slag crust and the formation of a seam. The possibility of introducing ferroalloys and metal powders through the flux ensures the necessary level of mechanical characteristics of the weld metal, and increases also the resistance of the weld metal to hot cracks and pore formation.

Tsumarev Yu. A., Sinitsa A. N., Latypova E. Yu., Tsumapev E. N. — Optimization of the design of unilateral T-shaped welded joint of T7 type according to GOST 14771—76

The analysis of the stress state of a unilateral T-joint type T7 according to GOST 14771—76 is carried out. It is shown that to ensure maximum bearing capacity of T-joint it is necessary to normalize the horizontal leg of the backing bead, taking it equal to the horizontal leg of the protruding part of the main welding joint connecting the wall with the zone.

Kuryntsev S. V., Shiganov I. N., Morushkin А. Е. — Laser welding of dissimilar alloys based on titanium and aluminum

The results of the investigation of an overlap welded joint of dissimilar alloys based on titanium and aluminum obtained by laser welding without defects in the form of pores or cracks are presented. Welding is effected by laser radiation, both from the side of titanium and from the side of aluminum. A microstructure was studied using an optical microscope, a comparison of the electrical resistivity of a welded joint with a mechanical joint was made. It has been concluded that, when exposed of laser beam from the side of titanium, the weld metal significantly differs with a slight change in the welding regimes.

Lukin V. I., Kashapov О. S., Samorukov М. L., Dautov S. Kh., Supov А. V. — The weldability investigation of the high-temperature titanium alloys with dissimilar combination using a linear friction

The work is carried out on the study of weldability at the linear friction welding (LFW) of samples from heat-resistant titanium alloys VT8-1 with VT41. The work is relevant, since the technology of linear friction welding can be used in the manufacture of high pressure impellers (blisks) for modern promising gas turbine engines. It will improve the technical characteristics of the final product, reduce costs, and improve the control measuring machines (CMM). The received results showed that the LFW technology allows to obtain welded joints with strength at the level of the least durable of the welded materials.

Storchay E. I., Lantushenko L. S., Gorbatskiy Yu. V., Smorodin A. I. — Soldering technology of aluminum structures

The features of the developed technology for brazing plate-fin heat exchangers, impellers of turbine expanders and air ducts, and electrodes of a new generation ozone generator are given. The comparison criteria of the developed soldering technology in argon are given, where positive results for reducing the thermal cycle and the energy intensity of the process, for eliminating the cleaning operations of chambers from condensed magnesium are adduced.

Latypova E. Yu., Tsumarev Yu. A., Tsumarev E. N. — The bearing capacity evaluation for overlap welded joints of various types

A comparative analysis of the lap butts stress state of various designs is carried out: a single-bead lap type N1, a double-bead lap type N2, as well as the proposed doubleseam joint with a slotted seam. According to the results of the finite element calculation carried out using the ANSYS software package, it was found that the carrying capacity of the proposed connection with a slit weld is not inferior to the carrying capacity of a standard connection type N2. A comparative analysis of the carrying capacity of singlebead lap is carried out, the results of which showed that in combination with a slot weld it is possible to achieve equal strength with the base metal.

Mogilnikov V. A., Bishokov R. V., Gezha V. V., Melnikov P. V. — Welding flux-cored wires in shipbuilding

The problems of modern production of welding flux-cored wire in Russia, as well as issues related to the use of flux-cored wire in shipbuilding are considered.

Krivonosova Е. А., Vorobev А. N., Krivonosova Е. K. — The effectiveness comparison of soldering and deposition methods for restoring parts after operation

A comparative study to restore the adapters of a gas turbine installation using soldering and surfacing techniques is carried out in order to find the most effective methods for repairing parts after operation. The main problem of soldering, welding and deposition is the increased tendency of joints to crack formation both at the manufacture of the product and at subsequent heat treatment of the heat-resistant dispersion-hardening nickel alloy VZhL14-VI — the main material of the product. The technology of furnace brazing with VPr11-40N solder is applied, as well as manual argon-arc deposition with wire ЭP367. The quality, macro- and microstructure of the deposition is investigated, the microhardness is measured and the heat resistance of the recovered products is evaluated. It is established that restoration by depositing, with a high probability, leads to wastage due to the formation of thermal cracks, developing along the grain boundaries of the base material, as well as in the heat affected zone of the deposition. Soldering technology provides a defect-free connection with no cracks at all, with high hardness values and high heat resistance.

Kanaev А. Т., Zhusin B. Т., Gulyarenko А. А., Sarsembaeva Т. U. — Plasma hardening of replacement parts of the agricultural machines soil-cutting working elements

In the article, based on our own research and analysis of literature sources, it is shown that to prolong the service life of heavily loaded wearing parts is surface plasma hardening. Plasma hardening is efficient and rational under parameters of universality, availability and economy. Such a hardening heat treatment is easily integrated into the technological process of restoring parts, without changing the parameters of the surface roughness. This finishing operation is low cost; it is productive enough and allows to increase effectively operational reliability of replaceable details of agricultural machines.
The plasma modification with tempering at 300 °C provides the best combination of high strength, plastic and viscous properties for heavily loaded replacement parts of the working organs of soil-cutting machines, which is proved by comparing the results of five investigated options for thermal hardening of flat samples of steel 65G. At ultrafast heating rates during plasma quenching, phase transformations are shifted to high temperatures. This thermally activated process strongly influences the kinetics of the onset and growth of new embryonic phase.
