Pankov V. V., Bogorodsky I. G., Pankov S. V., Bukin V. M. — Measure the shape of the weld

Based on physical concepts of the formation of a free interfacial surface of the liquid metal of the tail part of the weld pool during fusion welding, the shape of the surface standard of the butt and fillet welds in the Cartesian coordinate system and in the parametric form is mathematically described. It is proposed to take as a measure of the shape of the surface of the weld a reference shape, determined by the numerical solution of a differential equation in a Cartesian coordinate system or in a parametric form. Numerical values calculated according to the developed equations make it possible to reproduce and store information about the standard shape of the weld surface of given dimensions for various welding materials formed in various spatial positions. It is shown by examples that the standard quantitatively calculated by the formulas objectively and unambiguously determines the measure of the shape of the surface of the weld in fusion welding at a given position in space, width, area and capillary constant.

Zhidovich A. O., Stolin A. M., Chizhikov A. P., Konstantinov A. S. — Investigation of coatings obtained by electric arc surfacing in an argon atmosphere by SHS electrodes of the Ti-Co-B system

In this work, promising metal-ceramic electrodes of the Ti-Co-B system with reinforcing particles TiB2, Co2B in a titanium matrix were obtained by the method of SHS extrusion.
By the method of electric arc surfacing in an argon medium, protective coatings were applied with the obtained SHS electrodes. The phase composition and structure of the deposited coatings are investigated. It is shown that the deposited layer has a complex phase composition, and the phases TiB2 and Co2B are transferred to the coating during surfacing. The microhardness values for individual hardening particles reach 1500 HV, and the microhardness of the deposited layer exceeds the microhardness of the substrate by more than 2 times.

Vasiliev A. A., Osinnikov A. A., Gorsky A. I., Murzakov M. A., Grezev N. V., Ponomarenko D. V., Shiganov I. N. — Influence of heat input of hybrid laser-arc welding on the properties of low-alloy steel welds

The influence of heat input during hybrid laser-arc welding of low alloy steel of X52 and X80 gradeswith a thickness from 8 to 12 mm on the mechanical properties of the weld is considered. The optimal ratio of the input energy of the laser beam and the welding arc in the hybrid process has been established. The optimal welding speeds for hybrid laser welding with a pulsed welding arc using a fiber laser with a power of up to 10 kW have been determined.

Lyushinsky A. V. — Influence of laser treatment of welded surfaces on the formation of diffusion-welded joints

The influence of laser radiant energy density on formation of submicron structures on the surfaces, which are subject to diffusion bonding, is demonstrated. It is established that the formation of diffusion-bonding join through these structures differs from the formation of the same join through the microroughnesses obtained by mechanical processing.
A supposition is expressed that these differences are connected with a modification of the surface by the laser emission.

The methods of manufacturing brazed metal-ceramic assemblies with an output beryllium window used in X-ray equipment designs are considered. The article is devoted to the study of the possibilities of brazing dissimilar materials using metal with an output beryllium window and ceramic casing as a frame. The advantages of ceramic housings over glass housings of X-ray tubes are described. Technological methods for obtaining soldered metal-ceramic assemblies are presented. The conclusion is made about the most promising direction of research in this direction.
