Lebedev V. A., Novikov S. V. — Mathematical model of forming an electrode metal droplet during mechanized arc welding

The dependences of the volume growth of a droplet of a liquid metal at the frequency characteristics of the weld pool oscillations at surfacing are determined. The possibilities of realization of surfacing under these conditions, both with short circuits of an arc gap and without them are considered. The corresponding dependences for drops volume and frequency of droplet transfer to the weld pool had been received.

Parshin S. G. — Investigation of underwater hyperbaric FCA-welding of highstrength steel X70 in protective gases at pressures up to 0.6 MPa

The research materials of orbital hyperbaric FCA welding of pipes from steel with strength class API X70 with application of gas-shielded wire at excess gas pressure in the hyperbaric chamber up to 0.6 MPa are presented. The properties of welded joints at the level of the normative documentation requirements are ensured. It is shown, that for ensuring high reliability of welded joints when welding at great depths, it is necessary to use powdered wires with an increased content of active complex deoxidizers in the charge, as well as inert protective gases.

Efremenko B. V., Belik A. G., Chigarev V. V., Shimidzu K. — Interphase distribution of elements at powder band deposition with beads overlapping

The character of the chemical elements interfacial distribution in the coating obtained by electric arc deposition of the powder band PL AN-111 with 50 % beads overlapping is studied with application of the energy-dispersive spectroscopy. Investigation of the welded layer cross section revealed several structural zones, differing in phase chemical composition. Presence of eutectic carbides with a reduced content of chromium and an increased content of nickel is fixed in the beads overlapping area. A strong depletion of the matrix with chromium is recorded above the overlapping zone, which is associated with the formation of large primary carbides M7C3 containing up to 57 % Cr. A region of secondary carbides of non-stoichiometric composition is indicated with a corresponding depletion of the matrix over chromium is indicated under the overlapping zone.

Grigoryants A. G., Shiganov I. N., Tretyakov R. S. — Creation of composite coatings from metal powders by laser three-dimensional deposition

In the article the questions of application of additive technologies volume laser welding to create coatings from metal and the metal-ceramics composite materials. The process of obtaining compositions of the steel-TiC, Al-SiC, Ni-WC. Shows the advantages of these materials and their production technology. Considered modes of technology process, the scheme of application of the material and their influence on structure and mechanical properties. As an example, obtaining a friction material describes the technology of obtaining and properties of compositions of aluminium — silicon carbide.
The possibilities of enhancing properties of the compositions of the Ni-TiC by adding nanoparticles and rare-earth elements.

Bigus G. A., Vybornov A. P., Rykova I. S. — The maximum allowable value determination of the stress coefficient rate in welded joints vessels operating under pressure

In the article the questions connected with definition of the maximum admissible values of the stress rate coefficient KI in welding joints of vessels and the apparatuses working under pressure are considered. For establishing such values an engineering approach is proposed, which consists in replacing the existing pore or chain of pores with an equivalent crack. The length of such a crack, together with the radii of plasticity rp is the same as the pore diameter with the pore plasticity zones. The dependence of the maximum permissible values of stress rate coefficient in welding joints of the third category vessels made from steel 09G2S from the wall thickness of the apparatus is obtained.

Aulov B. F., Ishkov A. V., Ivanayskiy V. V., Lyalyakin V. P., Krivochurov N. T. — Influence of the boron alloying on the welding joints for steel 65G

The article presents the results of studies on the effect of boron additives in a welded bath. It is shown that the introduction of boron promotes the formation of new physical, highly disperse and structured phases in the seam which will undergo a dispersed or zone simplification, inhibit the development of cold cracks. The results of the investigations make it possible to characterize quantitatively and qualitatively the influence of boron on the structure of the welded seam.

Strizhakov E. L., Neskoromny S. V., Ageev S. O. — Magnetic-impulse welding of the secondary-emissive cathodes for electrovacuum apparatus

The article presents studies of the magnetic pulse welding process of secondary emission cathodes made from dissimilar alloys. It is proposed to carry out preliminary heat of the assembled unit for welding in vacuum with the subsequent magnetic — impulse impact in the radial direction through the dielectric container on the connected surfaces heated to premelting temperatures for welded surfaces activation and contaminations removal. The parameters of the MISV process and the limitations associated with the mechanical destruction of the welded assembly, flash-off or faulty fusion, affecting the strength of permanent joints are revealed. The microstructural analysis showed no formation of common grains. Hardness in the joint zone is increased, which is typical for the formation of the joining in the solid phase.
