Makeyev V. F., Boyarsky V. G., Sherov K. T., Sikhimbayev M. R., Sherov A. K. — Force analysis of a thread-cutting head with tangential die

In article the technique of definition of analytical dependences of deformations and dependences of pressure and efforts in details and joints of thread-cutting heads with tangential dies under the influence of forces of cutting is developed. Therefore the errors of a cut carving connected with movings of a thread-cutting die and possibility of the account of these errors in the adjusting size of dies are defined.

Mogutov I. V., Klauch D. N., Yagutkin Ye. G. — Deep-hole machining features

Machining features of deep-holes in heat exchanging equipment by gun drills (e.g. Single Tube System — STS) are under consideration. As compared to gun drills tool with internal chip handling has certain advantages: higher stem rigidity, zero contact between chips and machined surface, quick replaceability of cutter block.

TOOLING PRODUCTION

Rogov V. A., Gorbani S. — Damping properties analysis of a split lathe tool with composite material in its construction

This paper introduces a new design of the combined lathe tool; and applies epoxy-granite, possessing high damping capacity, in the tool holder of the lathe tool in order to reduce vibration during cutting process and increase tool life. It has been used a set of three types of tool holders: the standard all-metal tool, the tool with horizontal holes arranged in a chess-board pattern, and the tool with horizontal holes arranged in a chess-board pattern and tilled up with composite material. Three different types of epoxy-granites with different damping capacity were used: normal, rigid and plastic epoxy-granites. The computer simulation of the models was developed and static and dynamic analysis of the tools were studied; as a result the displacement of the tool point, natural frequency, maximum vibration displacement of cutting edge were obtained. The result revealed that as the overhang of the tool increases the displacement of the tool point increases and natural frequency decreases; the model-filled with normal epoxy-granitc has the lowest frequency compared to other models; the application of epoxy-granite in the tool holder has reduced vibration and increased tool life.

Vasilyevykh S. L., Ivanaisky A. V. — Choice of a calculation force deflection model of a machine tool with different equipment

A calculation model for obtainment of equations of vibration motions for machine elastic system components at different manufacturing setup, including no-rigid shaft processing by vibration damper, i.e. a rest device, is covered. In accordance with the designed diagram differential equations describing vibrations of the machined shaft with various edge conditions depending on work-holding technique on the machine tool are given.
