Yakushin B. F., Perkovskiy R. A., Sudarev A. V. — The physical model of the welding cycle at the study of metals weldability

Under the welding cycle usually refers to the thermal welding cycle (TWC) [1]. However, at any welding process, where there is local heating, the plastic deformations arise, initiating the diffusion, movement of vacancies and dislocations, and boundary migration resulting in microheterogeneity, change the final properties and weldability characteristics. Consequently, the simulation of the welding cycle when weldability tests intended for physical modeling of the structure and brittle fractures, must foresee not only heat, but also the deformative influence on the sample, identical welding.
At present, the insufficient weldability level, usually is detected none in the seam metal but in fusion zone, where the composition varies, the grain significantly enlarges and other characteristics of the metal structure change.
Therefore weldability test of the base metal is not carried out at welding but when simulating the welding cycle in the base metal samples by electrocontact heating and deformation cycle, adequate welding.

Vlasov A. F., Makarenko N. A., Kushchiy A. M. — The use of exothermic mixturesat manual arc welding and electroslag processes

Is shown development of exothermic flux conductive solid providing accelerated homing necessary volume of the slag bath in the starting period of electroslag processes in the "solid" start instead of "liquid" starting and chemical composition of the reduced metal equivalent the branded composition steel 9HF. Electroslag processes using exothermic alloyed flux to the "solid" start let you receive compared to the existing methods of homing slag bath increase metal yield 2...7 %; savings on the melt 1 kg of a standard flux of 1,2...1,4 kW.h; reduction of time starting period of ESR of up to 25 %.

We developed the technological options of diffusion welding of single crystal and polycrystalline molybdenum parts through titanium interlayer with use of hot isostatic pressing (HIP) We investigated the structure, mechanical and physical properties of Momono + Ti + Mopoly diffusion welded joints. The results of researches allowed us to make and test the complex molybdenum mirrors of 5000 sq.mm and 8000 sq.mm.

Dmitriev S. F., Malikov V. N., Sagalakov A. M., Shevtsova L. I. — Defectoscopy of the titanium alloys welded joints by eddy currents method

The sensor, which allows to investigate welding connected titanium plates is worked out from an vortex-current transducer (VCT.) of the transformer type. The basic technical information about the utilized VCT. is carried out. The measurement methodology that allows to control defects in the titanium alloys welding joints is described. Experimental results obtained by using the vortex-current transducer on two titanium plates connected by welding. The penetration depth estimation of the vortical currents field in the studied object is carried out The dependences demonstrating the value of VCT response at different depth of the defect locations. These dependences allow to estimate the welding joint quality and to answer the question about the welding reliability.

Koshelev А. О., Nikitina E. V., Frolov V. A., Vlasenko A. N. — Preparation technology of welded products at argonarc welding of the thin-sheet structures

The questuions of the inadmissible internal defects prevention (pores and oxide inclusions) take priority when welding structures with spreading welding joints. The formation of such defects associated with preparation technology breach of the welded parts surface, the existence of welding bay gaps at scraping and the allowable storage time exceeding of the prepared surfaces. The influence of surface preparation, welding bay gaps at end edges scraping and applying flux-suspensions on the porosity formation in the welded joints is researched. It is found that the nonsolidity minimum total volume intrinsic to joints performed by argon-arc welding through the use of a small amount of alcohol suspension flux bringed from penetrant side. In such a case the welding bay gaps at scraping are allowed.

Petteri Yenstrom — New technology Kemppi "Reduced Gap"

Reducing the angle of groove can significantly increase the efficiency and productivity of heavy metalware welding. Traditional narrow-groove welding can be applied to most welding processes, but has the disadvantage — is practically impossible without specially designed equipment. To overcome this limitation, Kemppi has developed a new solution Reduced Gap Technology (RGT).
This technology allows efficient and stable welding in narrow-groove without the need for special equipment or accessories for material up to 30 mm thick. RGT combines arc intelligent control of the high-tech power sources Kemppi; the wire feed mechanism and means of mechanization.

Lyushinskiy A. V. — The parts connection from the heat-resistant alloy by diffusion welding (Part 2)

The diffusion welding application effectiveness of the parts joints from the nickel superalloys is confirmed. It is proposed to improve the mechanical properties, to reduce the parts plastic deformation, to exclude softenings of the welded heat resistance nickel alloys through the use of a intermediate layers based on nickel.

Volkov S. S., Bigus G. A. — The ultrasonic welding technology development of products from nylon belts

A technology for ultrasonic welding of nylon tapes, allowing to obtain welds with high durability.
Numerical values of main parameters of ultrasonic welding mode nylon tapes. It has been established that the increase of the amplitude of the welding pressure and the welding time is reduced. It is shown that the nylon tape has geometric uniformity in both the longitudinal and transverse directions, which makes it possible to impose welds both along and across the tape.
