Overview-analytical, scientific-technical and production journal.
The journal is published by highly qualified specialists in the field of mechanical engineering with the assistance of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, the Russian Academy of Engineering, the Union of Mechanical Engineers of Russia, and OJSC NPO TsNIITMASH.
The main objective of the journal is to inform heads of government institutions, enterprises, scientific organizations, higher educational institutions, scientists, and highly qualified engineering personnel about the state and development prospects of defining technological directions in mechanical engineering, the latest technological processes, issues of economics and organization of production, and the main aspects of state technical policy.
The journal is included in the list of publications approved by the Higher Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation for the publication of works of degree applicants.
The journal is included in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) system,
and the International abstract database of scientific publications "Chemical Abstracts."
