Author Guidelines
Dear authors!
Manuscripts submitted to the editorial office must be prepared in full compliance with GOST 8.417-81 "GSI. Units of Physical Quantities." The volume of an article should not exceed 18 pages, including the list of references, tables, and figures. An abstract (up to 0.5 pages) summarizing the content of the article and keywords (in Russian and English) should be placed at the end of the article.

A research article must contain the following sections: introduction, research methodology, research results and discussion, conclusions.

The article must be sent to the editorial office by e-mail (for the journal "Svarochnoe Proizvodstvo" svarka@ic-tm.ru, for the journal "Tekhnologiya Mashinostroeniya" ic@ic-tm.ru) in the MS Word for Windows text editor (font 12, double line spacing, left margin 3.5 cm. The pages of the manuscript are numbered). Figures should be submitted in TIFF (preferred), PCX, or BMP formats with a resolution of 300 or 600 dpi for line art and 600 dpi for photographs.

When typing the manuscript on a computer, superscript and subscript indices are to be raised or lowered accordingly (not typed in line). Columns in tables must have brief headings. Column headings begin with a capital letter. Quantities mentioned in headings are accompanied by the corresponding units of measurement (in abbreviated form). All abbreviations, acronyms, and conventional values are to be explained in the text. The names of foreign companies and organizations are given in the transcription of the original source, indicating the country. All letter or numerical designations given in figures are explained in the text or in the figure caption. Latin characters in formulas are typed in italics. When writing a formula by hand, subscript and superscript letters and numerals are marked using the signs  or .

The list of references should be formatted in accordance with GOST 7.1-7.6. It is necessary to indicate the author's surname and initials, the exact title of the book or collection, the publisher, year and place of publication, total number of pages, and for journal articles – the surnames and initials of the authors, the title of the article and the source, the year of publication, the journal number, and the page numbers. References to foreign literature are given in Latin transcription without abbreviations.

At the beginning of the list of references, a reference should be made to one of the articles previously published in the journal, confirming the thematic relevance of the proposed article to the journal's subject matter and scientific section.

The manuscript must be accompanied by a cover letter requesting publication and an expert commission report confirming that the article does not contain materials included in the list of information classified as a State Secret by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation No. 1203 of November 30, 1995, and may be published in the open press.

The editorial office must be provided with the author's surname, first name, and patronymic (in full), academic degree, position and place of work, telephone number (office or mobile), e-mail. The authors transfer to the journal founder, for an unlimited period, non-exclusive rights to use this article by reproducing it, using it in whole or in fragments, including by posting full-text versions of issues on the Internet. The authors bear full responsibility for the content of this article. The authors agree to the rules for preparing the article for publication, bringing it to editorial standards (through literary and technical editing), as well as to the processing of their personal data in accordance with Article 6 of the Federal Law "On Personal Data" dated July 27, 2006, No. 152-FZ for the purpose of publication in the journal. The authors declare no conflicts of interest or personal relationships that could influence the work presented in this article.

All manuscripts of articles submitted to the editorial office undergo peer review according to the scheme adopted by the publishing house.

In case of a negative review, the editorial office sends the authors a copy of the review for making corrections taking into account the reviewer's comments, or they receive a reasoned refusal. The editorial office sends copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation upon receipt of a corresponding request. Reviews are stored in the editorial office for 3 years.

Dear authors! By submitting a manuscript to the editorial office, you transfer to the publisher the right to its publication in the journal. Submission to the editorial office of works published or intended for publication in other editions is not permitted.

Materials that do not meet these requirements will not be accepted for publication.
